Make your way to Jameos del Agua, an idyllic beach cave-turned-resort that was designed by local artist C?sar Manrique. Located in the village of Punta Mujere, the postcard-perfect site is complete with bustling bars, a restaurant, subterranean walkways, a pool and stunning gardens.
On arrival, pose for photos by the iconic crab sculpture and then wander along the visitor path toward Jameos del Agua’s restaurant. Stop to admire Jameo Chico, a salt lagoon where you might imagine mermaids lazing upon the rocks. Instead, spot the lagoon's real residents — tiny albino crabs — dotting the rocky floor.
Continue through caverns and partially collapsed volcanic tunnels that lead to the emerald-green El Jameo Grande pool and the underground auditorium. At the bottom of a series of winding steps, a staff member of the Jameos del Agua’s restaurant greets you. Marvel at the beautiful setting as you are taken to your table for a delectable three-course meal paired with a glass of white or red wine.
With your appetite sated, you’ll be treated to an incredible hour-long tiple and cello concert with live singers. After the concert, relax in the landscaped pool areas and mingle with your group and fellow diners while a DJ spins popular international and local music.
Your experience ends after midnight, after which you’ll make your own way back to your accommodation.
