Card was great but found it difficult to get. Came into the Madrid train station too late on a Sunday to get the card and then had to take a taxi ride to the city location to pick it up.

Great card! I highly recommend it! Saved u time waiting in line to buy tickets and able to use fast line at certain locations. You actually save money since u are admitted free into those places, Easiest way to see these places are using the hop on, hop off bus which is separate cost, however very economical if u purchase for multiple days............

The Madrid card was great in that it let us just walk into venues without any hassle, although we did not use it to it's full value, so infact we lost money on it.

Was nice to get quick access and freeing to not have to consider whether a tour was worth the money as it was already paid for. Not sure if we got our total investment's worth, but if you plan to see a lot of museums and the palace, it seems like a good idea.

We did not leave sufficient time to explore the museums to make this really worthwhile. We found ourselves aiming to go to places that were in the book instead of what we really were motivated to do once we got there. There was no benefit to prepaying. We still needed to stand in the same line to pick up the card as we would have to buy it. However, the skip the line benefits would have been valuable if the museums were crowded when we went, but they weren't.

We followed the directions to pick up MADRID CARD at Atocha.
Not very visible, but the lady there very nice!!!!
It would help if her KIOSK had the work MADRID CARD printed on front.
We just happened to see the sign for TOLEDO CARD. Your notes should say that it a very small kiosk.
The card was well received at restaurants and flamenco and everywhere.

It is a must if you are traveling to Madrid. Wity it comes a book which helped a great deal in locating all the "must see" attractions of madrid. Plus you get to skip al the lines and never worry about money during your trip.
