Day 1: Madrid — Cordoba — Seville (D)
Your tour begins with a morning departure from Madrid to Cordoba, as your luxury coach takes you through the legendary countryside depicted in Don Quixote. After enjoying lunch (own expense), take a guided tour of Cordoba to discover the city’s mix of Jewish and Arab culture. Admire Cordoba’s medieval architecture, with its whitewashed courtyards, winding alleys and leafy squares. Leaving Cordoba, continue to Seville for dinner and your accommodation.
Overnight: standard-grade Catalonia Santa Justa or superior-grade Melia Lebreros in Seville
Day 2: Seville (B, D)
After breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of the beautiful city of Seville, including the cathedral (from outside), Santa Cruz quarter and Maria Luisa Gardens. Discover the hidden secrets of this lively city built on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, with its rich Arab legacy and colorful local districts such as Triana and La Macarena.
Spend the afternoon exploring Seville at your leisure, before returning to your hotel for dinner. In the evening, stroll along the riverside promenade, visit one of the city’s legendary bars or experience the drama and passion of flamenco at a Seville flamenco show (optional extra).

Day 3: Granada — Alhambra — Generalife Gardens (B, D)
After breakfast at your hotel, relax on board your luxury coach during the scenic drive along the historic Caliphate road to Granada. In this legendary city renowned for its amazing Moorish architecture, take a guided tour of the World Heritage-listed Alhambra and Generalife Gardens, one of Andalusia's special highlights. In the mosaic-tiled and landscaped gardens of the Alhambra, discover the culture and history of Spain’s Moorish rulers and admire their exotic architectural legacy. After dinner at your hotel, spend the evening at your leisure or watch a Gypsy Zambra flamenco show in Granada’s Gypsy quarter, Sacromonte (optional extra).

Day 4: Granada — Toledo — Madrid (B)
Following breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a scenic coach ride to the World Heritage-listed imperial city of Toledo. Discover the city’s multicultural layering of Christian, Moorish and Jewish culture, and well-preserved medieval architecture. After lunch (own expense), take a guided walk into the past along Toledo’s cobblestone alleyways and enjoy a tour of the city’s monuments and landmarks. During the tour, hear about the work of baroque artist El Greco in Toledo, and see examples of Toledo’s signature Damasquinado metalwork, delicately etched with gold. Departing Toledo in the afternoon, relax on the return drive to Madrid, where your tour ends.

This was not a good experience for me. The guides walked much too fast and I was unable to keep up. I almost got left behind and all I saw was the ground as I tried to run and not fall. Also when the guide finished talking in Spanish (which took forever) the Spanish folks started talking and I was unable to hear what was going on. I do not recommend this for individuals over 60 unless the are in the shape of a 30 year old.

What an amazing tour package. I was a bit concerned about commuting to days with a group buyback Gracia, our guide was amazingly knowledgeable, intelligent and clearly knew her way around. Her tips and suggestions were spot on and the optional Sevilla Flamenco show was awesome! We enjoyed every second and would do it again in a heart beat! Thank you Gracia!

The guide was very informative. Toilet breaks were well spaced. Overnight hotels were good but the food in Granada was not well prepared. It would have been nice to have some free time in Toledo as ithe old city is interesting and we only had an hour or so there.

This 4-d trip gave us an opportunity to see some parts of the country and learn some of its history. We like all the guided tours in each city. Wish could spend more time in Seville and guided tours for the palace and the cathedral there. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable but the meals were not impressive although we upgraded our package. Wish there is an English Speaking only tour

Excellent tour to explore the development of religious and political culture in Southern Europe from before Christ into the present time. These 4 cities were amazing in the architecture, art, and history. If you are interested in these topics, this is a good tour.There is a lot of walking so be prepared for that.Accommodations and food on tour good to excellent.Guides provided for the individual cites were excellent; very knowledgeable and approachable.

The original ad stated it was an English speaking tour which was accurate, however the tour guide was not accommodating to the Majority of English speaking guests. When explaining particular sites esp. on a bus the guide would always explain in Spanish first and after a seemingly long explanation would than explain in English, long after the item or attraction was long passed. Her concentration to the few were very evident not only to myself, but to the many other English speaking guests as well. The quality of the hotels were OK for the first stay, but was not pleasant for the second stay. The optional additional tours, (extra $$) were OK. Flamingo dance was the best, and the only one I was satisfied with. Would recommend this tour, but not without guarantee of English only.

Perfect visit to Madrid and other cities. Our tour guide Josep was fun and like an old friend by the end of the tour. Our tour group was fun as well.

The Tour Director mostly spoke Spanish which did not help most of the non-Spanish speaking tourists. Consequently, the whole idea of a guided tour was defeated.

Wonderful introduction to Southern Spain! Beautiful cities with knowledgeable and passionate local guides! Need to make time on your own at each city to see additional sites. Take time to visit the cathedrals and palaces that are not included on the tour. Book your skip-the-line ahead of time. The Spanish to English translation on the bus tour was good but not complete -- since we knew both Spanish and English, we knew that not everything was translated for the English speaking tourists. Take time to learn about the cities and sites before you take the tour and you'll be able to make the most of your visit. Skip the Gypsy optional tour in Granada. Enjoy!
