Meet your guide near Giralda Tower and then stroll to your first tapas bar of the afternoon. As you walk, your guide will chat to you about Spanish gastronomy, and of the explosion of the ‘tapas scene’ on the international stage. While Spain’s best tapas city is frequently debated, Seville is one of the title’s definite contenders with its concentration of atmospheric bars, cooking up Andalusian specialties to sweet perfection.
Tapas bars here are typically crowded, but that’s all part of the fun! Jostle for space with locals and follow the tapas etiquette of your guide: sharing, finger-using and generally getting stuck in the food. The dishes served each afternoon will vary, but you can expect a selection of food ranging from niche regional specialties to all-time Spanish classics.
Wolf down dishes like sizzling gambas (prawns), succulent oxtail, locally cured hams and refreshing gazpacho a chilled soup made from the ripest of tomatoes. Treat your taste buds with bacalao a delicately dried and salted cod (tasting infinitely better than it sounds) and devour Spanish favorites like paella. All dishes are complemented with local wine, sherry and crisp Spanish beer like Cruzcampo and San Miguel.
Complete your tapas circuit of Seville at two more bars, continuing your afternoon of camaraderie and fine food. Your tour finishes at the third bar, leaving you perfectly placed to carry on eating your way around Seville should you wish.

Not worth the $$. Our guide didn’t reserve a table for our first restaurant stop so we ended up eating our tapa off of a plate, which he was holding, in the middle of the street outside of the restaurant. He also left us to fend for ourselves at the 3rd stop because he had somewhere else to be.

Was a great tour with wonderful food, but the guide did not originally turn up and we had to phone the supplier to find out what had happened. However once he finally arrived, the tour was good value with different types of tapas bars in the old city, and yummy things to eat plus educational.

We had good company. The tour guide was a college student and not well versed in the wine. But, he was a very nice guy and the couples we were with delightful.

Sadly this tour was not as good as many of the food tours we have been on elsewhere. We were the only guests and the host took us initially to a bar where we sampled the orange wine with a small piece of cheese and pork skin. We then walked to a restaurant where we had around 5 tapas between 4 of us, washed down with a small glass of sherry. Finally we went to a rooftop bar where we were left by the guide after he ordered us a glass of cava and a slice of cake. We left feeling hungry and underwhelmed for the price we paid.

One of best food/wine tours we've done, of dozens in many countries. 1- Spain perfected tapas and has great wine 2- Seville a perfect cities for this type 3- Guide had a GREAT personality, lined up great places and worked hard to explain city, culture and role food. A must do

Great way to check out some local food and restaurants right around the Cathedral and Barrio Santa Cruz area. Wonderful guide Chel with great stories and able to pick out food best for our interests and tastes. Loved the orange wine and finishing with a rooftop champagne toast.
