Day 1: Start your 2-night tour with a transfer from Seville Airport or Santa Justa Station to your hotel. Check in, and then spend the rest of your day at leisure, exploring independently. Perhaps visit Seville Alcazar, a UNESCO-listed 14th-century fortress that’s said to be modeled on Granada’s Alhambra, or explore the picture-perfect city neighborhood of Santa Cruz. All entrance fees, food and drinks are payable at your own expense. Overnight: 4-star superior Inglaterre Hotel or similar Day 2: (B) Enjoy breakfast in your hotel, and then set off to see the city sights with a guide. After a hotel pickup, explore Seville by minibus while learning about the city and its history. Once an important center in Spain’s Islamic caliphate, the sunny city of Seville went on to be ruled by the Castilians before being named capital of the autonomous Andalusia region. The different rulers each stamped their mark on Seville, and you’ll see countless examples of their architectural legacies around town.
