See Liverpool’s iconic sights in this fun cruise along the River Nersey. Get on-board the Mersey Ferries River Explorer Cruise and enjoy an awe-inspiring view of Liverpool’s city and natural landscapes. The legendary band The Beatles performed several times onboard Mersey Ferries during the 1960’s. Marvel at the colourful “Dazzle Ferry- Snowdrop,” a ferry painted by Sir Peter Blake, the artist behind The Beatles’ iconic Sgt. Peppers album cover. During the cruise, hop off at Woodside and visit one of the four remaining real German u-boats, U-534, at the U-Boat Story Museum. Learn more about its history with the museum’s interactive and audio-visual exhibits.

NOW showing at Spaceport is Sci-Fi Icons. This is a private collection of Stars Wars memorabilia from one of the UK’s biggest collectors.
Showing an array of fascinating scenes and iconic characters from the films including, Landspeeder Desert Scene, Ewok Village, Jedi Knights, Death Star, Jaba’s Court, Emperor’s throne room, Storm Troopers, Darth Maul, C-3PO, R2-D2, Bobba Fett, Yoda, Chewbacca the wookie and much more! There will also be a display of renowned Star Wars toys dating back from 1977 to 1996.
This impressive collection is a must see for all the family young and old!

Fabulous experience to share with my visiting South African friend, on an extremely bracing 2nd January - the Hurricane wind that had been battering the Coastline for days! We sailed graciously up and down the Mersey, great commentary covering past, present and future ventures in this beautiful part of the world, detailing the architecture along the way. Lovely warm ship, clean, spotless restroom, good hot drinks and fresh sandwiches. Staff delightful. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend. David,Gilli and Pat.xxx

Was a little disappointed, but at least can say we've been on the Ferry, cross the Mersey! You can get off and see other sights and board again, which would make it more interesting. The weather was awful, unfortunately and could see nothing but grey and rain.
