Absolutely loved this tour! I researched for hours and hours on various sites to try and find the best use of my time in England. Mark was a fabulous guide for our small group of just under ten people. We had beautiful fall weather making the tour extra enjoyable, but the length of time in each stop was what really made the tour ideal. I was traveling alone so I appreciated the more intimate feel to the tour while still having free time to visit the Roman Baths in Bath, grab lunch in Lacock and wander around Stonehenge. Mark did an amazing job giving plenty of insight into each of the stops on the tour without talking the entire time while driving.

Well paced, enjoyable tour.
Our guide Pepe was very knowledgeable and passionate about the sights we were visiting. We were given 2 hours on our own in Bath, 90 minutes in Lacock in the Cotswolds, for lunch, after a nice tour of this tiny town, and about 2-3 hours at Stonehenge.
The time in Bath went very quickly, as there is a lot to see at the baths. We didn't have time to see it all. The admission was not included, it was around 14 pounds, and included an audio headset.
Lacock is a small village. There are many movies an shows filmed in the area and Pepe was keen to point these places out. Scenes for Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth was filmed at Lacock Abbbey, as were scenes for Harry Potter movies. The house shown in the second movie belonging to his real parents is there.
Stonehenge has grown considerably since I last visited. The car park and visitor's center is far from Stonehenge and requires transport by bus. The line for the bus was quite long and the buses did not run as frequently as I felt they should have, only my opinion, but one is ready and excited to see this special place and the delay was frustrating.
Pepe, was very good at explaining the various theories behind this collection of rocks and gave us great insights. He was obviously very passionate about this area and it showed. He answered questions with humor and great interest.
In all it was a long, but great day. Pepe's enthusiasm added to the experience and we all had a great time.
We met the group at the Gloucester Tube station at 7:30am and returned around around 7:30pm.
Thanks, Pepe, for a great day!

This tour was wonderful! So much history in one day. Our tour guide, Pepe, was very knowledgeable about the history of England. Bath was impressive. We loved the drive thru the Cotswolds. The pub lunch was great. We highly recommend The George Inn in Lacock. The bathrooms are pristine. Stonehenge was marvelous. We’ve never seen anything like it. So old! This tour is a must for anyone visiting England. Be prepared to walk a LOT. City Wondets Tour Company is great!

This is a full day and covers a lot of ground. I knew it would be a whirlwind tour and it was. Our guides were good. I thought there might be a little more commentary on the long drive out to Bath about history and places but what we did get was satisfactory. If you are short on time and want to pack several sights in, then this is a good tour for you. But be advised you will not have more than 90 minutes or so in each location.

Unfortunately, we booked for a bank holiday so everyplace we went was extremely crowded. The meeting place was convenient and our two tour guides were very good. However, the trip was not described as we expected. When we arrived at Bath, we were given a choice of going on a walking tour of the town with the tour guides or waiting on line to get into the Roman Baths. Of course, that took up most of the two hours allowed and we were only able to pop into Bath Abbey for a few minutes. There was not enough time to do everything (Jane Austen's house) that was mentioned in the tour description. The Cotswolds portion was interesting but again not enough time to have lunch and actually go to visit the abbey where scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed or go to the photography museum. More than enough time in Stonehenge since you cannot go anywhere near the stones (very different than my first visit in 1975). All is all it was worth it, and again, booking on the wrong day probably deterred from fully enjoying the adventure. ructureEueplacethe Harry Poteat lunch o was interest

Our family of four enjoyed the day. Bath was surprisingly fun. Lacock was interesting. Lunch was not our favorite but it was ok. Loved Stonehenge.

Great tour. Loved the day especially the Cotswolds. The tour around Bath was wonderful. We opted not to go on the Bath tour since we had been there before so the tur guide took us on a walking tour and explained all the beautiful architecture.
