Day 1: London Paris
Meet your guide at St Pancras International Station in central London, and then set off toward Paris at speeds of up to 186 mph (299 kph). Sitting comfortably aboard the Eurostar, gaze out of the window as rural England gives way to the fields of France, passing through Pas-de-Calais, Picardy and the northern suburbs of the beautiful French capital.
On arrival at Gare du Nord train station, just over two hours later, hop aboard an air-conditioned coach with your guide and begin your half-day panoramic tour of the City of Light. Drive along the Avenue des Champs-Elys?es to the Arc de Triomphe; cruise alongside the Seine River to the Eiffel Tower; see the golden dome of the church at the Hotel des Invalides; and explore the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Pr?s. You’ll also see the Louvre Museum, Tuileries Garden (Jardin des Tuileries), Opera Garnier and other famous sights.
Continue to your hotel in the city center. Then, after checking in, join back up with your guide and travel by Metro (own expense) to the Seine River for a 1-hour cruise. Have your camera ready as you sail past Notre Dame Cathedral and other sights along the Seine’s UNESCO-listed banks.
Back at the pier, make the most of free time to head up the Eiffel Tower (own expense) or return to your hotel independently. The rest of the day and evening is yours to spend at your leisure.

Following breakfast, meet your guide and head to lofty Montmartre, the famous bohemian quarter once home to luminaries like Picasso, Monet and Toulouse-Lautrec. Climb up the steep streets lined with ivy-strewn buildings to the Basilique du Sacr?-Coeur, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views over the entire city.
After some free time to soak up the sights or visit the Sacr?-Coeur, follow your guide through the slinking streets to the Moulin Rouge. Spend a few moments snapping photos of the infamous cabaret before continuing to Notre Dame Cathedral for a guided tour.
