This was a small group of 5. The guide was fantastic, not a spot unvisited or story untold. A must tour.

Wonderful and almost private tour through the countryside and the most beautiful locations. Deb has lived Downton Abbey for years and knows all the folks who run the places where we stopped. Felt like we lived there as well. Daniel drove the comfy van through the tricky path and was just as nice. Any entry tickets were included in the prices so the tour was very convenient.
Not to divulge anything, we saw the Farm which was a totally working farm, as gorgeous as it looks on screen. We saw Bampton, which is Downton village and stopped by lots of the familiar places like the pub, the church, the post office - visualized so many scenes. We then toured through the countryside to see other sites that all fans would recognize, the inn where a forbidden wedding was going on, another pub and all of the gorgeous Cotswold scenery between. If you want a tour of the Cotswolds, I'd recommend taking another specific tour, even though we drove through the south end.
The Highclere wasn't available that day - but I booked the tour specifically to see Winston Churchill's home. It was amazing. The property is enormous with super lovely grounds. You could spend a whole day there enjoying it. There was a lot of history about the family and its a great example of the Manor House and how it ran. Deb covered a lot of the English history as well.
The whole day was wonderful, and well planned so you can see so much. I highly recommend it for history buffs or Downton Abbey fans.

This was a full day tour -- as is noted, it does not include the Downton Abbey home, but rather a number of the sites used in the series. The guide was quite informative and there was also a fair amount of free time at a couple of the sites for tourist gawking and camera use.
The second half of the tour was Blenheim Palace -- we'd been there before but enjoyed the tour quite a bit. Also we had time to walk in part of the gardens. Weather was a bit iffy, but no fault of the tour. The tour also included a stop at the grave site of Churchill -- it was raining quite a bit there but we had umbrellas to hand.
A good tour, with a good guide -- would have been a bit more fun had the weather cooperated.

Our tour guide, Debbie, was a delight! She was brilliant in describing what went on not only with the Downton Abbey filming but also what it was like in the day...fascinating. The Bleinheim Palace is worth going to...off season is better...less people. We went in Sept/Oct. and we loved it. Flowers still in bloom and very few tourists.

It was a very nice day out in the Cotswolds. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable and also a fan of the show which helped! My only complaint was that this tour advertisement should have been more clear that this tour didn't actually go to Highclere Castle. I might not have spent so much money for a tour, even for a nice day out, had I known.

I didn't watch much of Downton Abbey but still the Cotswold towns and country, and Blenheim Palace.

Andrew our guide was the most energetic that we met on the tour, Very helpful, and very involved. The Cotswolds is not an area one should miss while in UK.

First the ad said that there were no pick-ups from London hotels, After we had spent 107 pounds on train fare to Oxford, missed prepaid breakfast at our hotel and arrived at the London station at 6AM'we found out that a couple on the same tour were staying at our hotel in London and were picked up there and delivered back. Additionally, the tour seemed to have little to do with Downton Abbey. We spent little time in the Cotswolds and a lot of time at Blenheim where any meaningful tour was blighted by the lack of a guide and the distracting "art" of Wei Wei. This was the most expensive tour we took while in England and Scotland and the most disappointing.
