This Hop-On Hop-Off tour is from Tours and Tickets (Lindbergh Travel) and includes the usage of 3 lines (1 bus + 2 boat lines). In general, the with every bus and boat going guide personal to check tickets and announce the next stop is very friendly and tries to help where can, but the audio guide could be by far more extended. For long periods, just music is played and the tiny facts that are mentioned are repeated on all 3 lines. Also, the advertisement to book other tickets from "Tours and Tickets" for sights at the stops is pretty remarkable.

So to sum up, we had higher expectations. From other Hop-On Hop-Off tours like in Florence, we are used to get much more facts and without constantly advertising additional entry tickets with "discount".

The tour might be nice for families, where too much information cannot be consumed with constant kids attention, but for couples doing city trips, the 3 lines with the full loop durations of 2h 40m (boat, 11 stops), 1h 50m (boat, 8 stops) and 1h 10m (bus, 11 stops) with the few short overlapping facts is a bit waste of time. We would choose another operator next time, since for pure transportation public transport is cheaper.

Excellent boat and bus tour. You get to see lots of places in short time. I will suggest this anytime.

Good coverage for first time traveller to Amsterdam, however it was abit troublesome to get the vouchers from the tour office. Audio could be further improved.

Having used City Sightseeing several times in various cities, we found the Amsterdam tour via bus to be disappointing. The bus tours around the outskirts of the city, with rather poor audio, not much to say/see?? The boat part of the trip (blue and green line) was much better, but again the audio wasn't inspiring, lots of repetition. Friendly staff, clean bus and boat.

The routes provide and excellent way to see the highlights of London. The staff does everything possible to make the trip an enjoyable one.

It's a nice way to get around the city but the app doesn't always work and we had to wait an hour and a half to find a boat. Much of the commentary is the same whether you are on the boar or bus and it also repeats. It's not the same as having a live guide. It's prerecorded commentary.

The tour was exciting to me and informative. We had plenty time to get off the your bus look around the tourist sites and jump back on next buses at our own time, to go visit other sites. I enjoyed the diamond factory guided free tour, the ice skating scenery located at the R. museum. The buses all had air conditioning to make you comfortable.I enjoyed the boat ride. Visited the science museum using the boat. A very lovely site especially at the terraces on the roof top. Bough five Dutch souvenirs on this trip to take home.

The bus tour was excellent, pointing out the sights to see. After departing the bus tour, we hopped on the canal boat part of the tour and really LOVED it!!! It was cold out, but the glass-enclosed boat was heated and the windows were clear for picture taking. Sujita was our tour guide and she was excellent - extremely knowledgeable and very sweet!

Was a lot of fun. Every one was very friendly and helpful. They even remembered who we were when we got back on the boat later.

We chose this option to experience the canals and it did not disappoint. The canal tour was probably our favorite part.
