This was one of the main reasons for my visit to The Netherlands the tulips. The flowers are so beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous. I was there in May when the flowers were in full bloom. It is a self guided tour of the flowers but the tour company give you ample time to be able to visit the whole garden. I would recommend this to people of all ages, as it is that beautiful. There is a restaurant and plenty of souvenir shops as well as a coffee stand. Try the mint tea, it is amazing! This is a tour everyone should take...

The tour itself was really good. This Keukenhof Garden is a MUST SEE during the tulip season!

However, I wish the instructions on the voucher on how to get to meeting place could be more clear. I had no idea how long it would take to walk to the Tours and Tickets place from Dam Square. My booking is for a group of 22 people so we missed the original tour and had to re-book to next day with a higher rate. I suggest the instructions should include estimated time it will take to get to the ticket office from various points.

Our spirit was dampened a bit due to the booking change.

It was the most beautiful Spring day, and tour of Keukenhof Gardens was more than we expected.

Departure VERY unorganized but guide was very good. The Gardens were a highlight of my Amsterdam holiday. Should not miss the opportunity!

Poor loading location, late start time, multi langiage script was anooying

The afternoon tour from Amsterdam on April 7th fit our schedule after departing our cruise in Rotterdam that morning. We walked to the local vendor from our hotel and joined others going on the same tour. The tour guide described the tour as well sites along the way in several different languages matching the needs to those on the tour. Anna was also able to respond to questions in the person's preferred language. After 45 minutes or so we arrived at the gardens and were given a map describing the various places. Although not all the flowers were in full bloom, the gardens were fabulous - breathtaking. A chilly wind made spending time in several of the pavilions a welcome reprieve for us from Phoenix, AZ. I can understand while one wants to visit several times during the season as the landscape is continually changing with different plants blooming at different times. The 3 hours went by quickly. We would highly recommend this special place for those travelling to Amsterdam in the Spring.

Beautiful gardens. Great central location near the cruise terminal and train station for tour start and end. Much better price than cruise excursion price.

Great tour. The Keukenhof Gardens were absolutely beautiful. The only glitch was the morning check in. We didn't know that we had to turn in our vouchers for tickets. We got to the meeting spot early - before it was open - so went for a cup of coffee. When we returned, we saw a woman in front of the meeting spot with a Keukenhof sign on a pole so we followed her to the bus. When we tried to board they asked for our tickets. People - it is crazy busy at the tourist office at 8:30. My advice for others is to stop by the office the day before in the afternoon and exchange your voucher for a ticket then. Otherwise it starts the tour on a unnecessarily frenzied note. Other than that - the trip was great.
