The bus seats were painful and the driver was grumpy.

It's just that it takes forever get there and back...traffic is crazy on both ends. But Brussels is amazingly beautiful. Guide was knowledgeable but pompous and demeaning.

It was a great day trip. The guide was fluent in several languages and gave as an overview of the places.

The trip met our expectations and more. Alejandro is an excellent guide. He gave us plenty of knowledge about Brussels. And led us to a great place for lunch.

This turned out to be a full day of shopping - not what I imagined, nor what I expected. We walked around so many streets, so many shops, and they all seemed to be similar. The tour guide was terrible - he just told us to buy these five things, walked quickly to one tourist statue of a boy peeing and told us to meet him at a certain time or find our own way back to Amsterdam. I was hoping to see war memorials, but the guided didn't know of any.

Brussels is at least 3 hours away from Amsterdam, so with traffic you are on the bus for at least 6 or 7 hours of this tour. The bus is a double decker so there are 80-85 passengers. We signed up for the English tour, but got a bilingual English and Spanish mix. Very annoying. You get about an hour at the Atonium, which is the World's Fair exhibit for Belgium from 1958. Not enough time to explore. They also did not stop for bathroom breaks all the way to Brussels, and even sold water on the bus. You get about an hour of driving around Brussels with no stops for photos, and about an hour walking in central city. Then an hour of a ridiculous chocolate demonstration, where the guy pours chocolate into a plastic ice cube tray and you get chocolate. dumb and not worth the time. Then you are on your own from around 2:30 until 6 to explore the central city. The bus driver was super rude and then a 3 1/2 hour trip back to Brussels. Total time 12 hours and not worth the time or money.

I purchased 4 tickets for visit to Antwerp and Brussels, however there was no stop in Antwerp.
Guide spent 45 minutes north of Belgium on a coffee and toilet break which was too long. There was not much to see at that stop. In Brussels the Guide was not very helpful in explaining the various activities.

Great day trip to Brussels with a wonderful guide Piter (hope I spelled it correctly) and a guitar pro driver Ron. Very informative, engaging and fun. Brussels turned out to be a bit provincial but the Old Town center is quite spectacular. A stop at the Atonium was an added delight. Thank you!
