產品詳情

Begin the day with an early morning pickup from hotels in Ushuaia to End of the World train station. This is the departing point for the trains which follow the winding Pipo River edge that goes into Tierra del Fuego National Park. This is the same route that the prison train used to take. Here we can appreciate the used tree trunks that were loyal witnesses of that time when Ushuaia used to be a penal colony. Quirky carriages from the beginning of last century take us to experience a part of this land history.
Once we reach the entrance of National Park Tierra del Fuego, we get off the train. This park represents the southernmost protected area as the only National Park that has coastlines, covering a stretch of 6 km wide over the Beagle Channel and an area of 63,000 hectares. The topography of the park varies a lot. Everything is a series of craggy mountains, rivers, valleys and lakes, resulting in varied landscapes from the picturesque and lively stream to the mass of towering mountains, or the extraordinary spectacle of the majestic Canal Beagle.
The most common mammals living in the park are foxes and rabbits but you can also see muskrat and beaver. Among birds, Upland Goose and gray-headed steamer ducks, great grebe, the black carpenter and rayadito giant roam. The park presents exclusive marine birds such as albatross, the oystercatcher overo the white Cauquen and mammals such as seals and otters sea.
Some of the points we'll visit are: Ensenada Bay, Redonda Island sighting, lake Roca Casita del Bosque, Laguna Verde and Negra, beaver dam, and Lapataia Bay which marks the end of the route, some 3,242 km. from Buenos Aires.

First of all, it is a great experience to have, if you are Ushuaia or that part of the world. Not a fancy train for the price but it does tell a story. The view and the natural beauty is unforgettable.

A great day travelling on the train at the End of the World and through the national park. A very comfortable train ride through interesting scenery and good service on. The train considering all the languages spoken.

As we had been on the national park hike and kayak tour the day before, a lot of the sites were repeated.
The organisation was a bit chaotic as one minute we were getting the train first, then plans changed.
The guide struggled to keep everyone informed so we spent a lot of time on the bus waiting for stragglers. The guide needs to clearly state the time everyone should be back at the bus, not just say we will be here for 10 minutes
That said we enjoyed the train trip, but could probably have hired a taxi to take us to the station and done it ourselves

We were confirmed on our date we chose and the company then emailed to switch us to the next day and confirmed with our hotel without our knowledge at first. Once we explained it was that day or not at all due to a cruise they moved us to a competitor who was running that tour that day, I found that very unprofessional especially after confirmation had been made through Viator and themselves via email at first. The other company was a Spanish speaking tour and we were the only English speakers on board, that was annoying but that company did a very good job and the guide was fantastic and gave us lots of personal info, the local agent though was disappointing with their organisation to confirm and then try and get out of running a low passenger tour.

Very interesting tour. The commentary on the train was very interesting and the train trip covered some very scenic areas. The trip through the national park was also very scenic.

Tour was ok, ran longer than expected due to no of people, a lot of time spent in pickup and drop off. Train ride was good and nice ride through National patk with a couple of stops. No place to buy water so remember to take water with you. If i was to do again would try for small group tour.

My husband and I travelled to Ushuaia from our home in Buenos Aires and wanted to see as much as possible in the two days that we would be there. We were staying at the Arakur and were picked up there. We stopped at a couple of other hotels to pick up other travelers. Then off to the train station. The guide was wonderful, speaking Spanish and English. We speak both languages, but I am most comfortable in English. The train station was really fun. It had a tiny, but very busy gift shop. The train ride was delightful, stopping at one location for the passengers to take photos, view the area, and hike up the hill for a better view. There was plenty of information along the way, given in several languages, by the recorded guide. At the end of the train ride, we again boarded our bus for further travel up through the mountains and to a lake. We had time to photograph the lake and the area. We stopped for a time at a park information building where we were able to purchase food, buy gifts in the gift shop, look at a display about the park, and take more photos. We then drove to the end of Route 3 where we were able to hike a little and take more photos. In the end, we were returned to downtown Ushuaia. It was all really fun, and completely worth the cost.
The only difficult thing that happened was that several of the tourists were late in returning to the bus at each stop, delaying the trip from continuing, and ultimately cutting short our last stop.
The bus driver was amazing, and the guide was very good. I would recommend this trip to everyone.
