The wet and wild cruise aboard the Maid of the Mist boat is legendary and operates seasonally (mid May to October)*. Outside the season you can take an amazing close-up "Journey Behind the Falls" to stand in the mist behind the thundering Horseshoe Falls.
Other highlights on the Niagara Falls tour include Canadian Horseshoe Falls, Table Rock House, Queen Victoria Park, Sir Harry Oakes Gardens, Upper Canadian Rapids, Lower Niagara River and Gorge, and the Mighty Whirlpool.
This tour departs from Niagara Falls only, and is not available from Toronto.
Please note: The Maid of the Mist portion of this tour departs from the US side of Niagara Falls. All customers booking this tour must have appropriate documentation to enter the United States and Canada.
*Operating dates of the Maid of the Mist are approximate and dependent on winter/ice conditions

Native born U.S. Citizens must present one of the following travel documents: U.S. Passport; Enhanced Driver’s License; Trusted Traveler Program cards Nexus, Fast/Express or Sentri.

Persons under 18 years of age who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian should bring a notarized letter from parents or legal guardian giving permission to travel to Canada, or if only one parent is traveling with the child, they must possess a notarized letter from the other parent giving permission.

All persons other than U.S. Citizens or Legal, Permanent residents of the United States require valid passport or an acceptable travel document.

We stayed at the tower hotel. staff was very nice and rooms were clean. the view from our room was awesome. Food around the area we way over priced for what you get.

This was a really enjoyable day as part of a "getaway weekend" for my birthday. Super guide Josh picked us up promptly at our hotel, and we saw and experienced the falls in every way imaginable. Nice, manageable group of 12 in a small bus; Josh knew every shortcut, best places to park, stop for a break, etc. It's clear they have been doing this tour for a while! It would have taken us two days to do all we did on our own. Definitely worth the price!

We had an awesome time on this tour. The weather was unbelievably warm for October and we were fine with this considering the boat ride and the possibility of getting wet while viewing the falls. We were provided with ponchos that kept all dry. The land tour was equally awesome. This area of Canada is very beautiful. Big shout out to our tour guide Dayna. She was so knowledgeable and friendly! I would highly recommend this tour!

I have been to Niagara Falls many times throughout the years, but I have never taken a tour. This was my birthday trip and I decided to do a tour and see the things that I haven't. I wanted to do a Maid of the Mist tour. I'm so happy that we did. Even though the day was cool, we had a fantastic time. Dayna, out tour guide was fantastic. She entertained as well as informed, which is exactly what I like. We saw the whirlpool, Skylon tower, drove along the lake, saw the American as well as the Canadian sides. If you get a chance to go on one of her tours, do so. She really made it a fun day.

The tour was wonderful except for the hour long wait at the border coming and going. It was not viator's fault! The voice made sure to complete the entire tour. Tom was an excellent guide.
