Outside of Quebec City in a neighborhood undergoing revitalization. More walking than food tasting. First stop, Chez Aston, was a disappointment- not the quality I was expecting. Tour guide very nice and knowledgeable.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour even though it was a rainy day! The tour guide was enthusiastic and well informed. However, this is a difficult tour for someone with a special diet. As someone who is on a gluten free diet, the guide's suggestion was just suspend you diet for today. Well, that's not possible without major consequences for me. Only one stop accommodated my needs with a substitute and I had difficulty getting information about ingredients like flour and gluten free products. This meant I just had to forego several of the samplings. Putin, crab cakes, and most beers are definitely not gluten free. The fish market offered me a substitute which was very good.

Terrific tour of a neighbourhood that I would not have visited otherwise.

Great experience and we had an excellent guide in Al. He was passionate about Quebec and is. A great guide.

Great time walking around a very cool part of Quebec City. Tasting amazingly good food and learning about the St Roch area. Highly recommended

Even though the weather wasn't favorable, the tour was. Emily did a great job of not only giving info about the food but also added in history of St-Roch. One thing did happen to make us late, Viator didn't up date the meeting spot and we were late in meeting the group. Emily and the group was forgiving though.

The food, locations, and - most importantly- our tour guide, were all excellent!

However, was not anything like the picture. It was a walking tour to a fast food place for poutine interesting taste, nice brewery for beer and a delicious pea soup, tea shop for a taste of two teas, seafood place for a lobster cake, cheese shop for a delicious taste of three cheeses sheep, goat and cow and lastly a natural food place for a key lime pie made with avocados.

This far outweighed any expectations we had for this tour. If you want to get off the beaten track, try some delicious and unusual combinations of food, then this tour is for you. And there was LOTS of food provided...beer, traditional soup, tea with cheese (yes you read that right - a must try), wine, French cuisine in a restaurant that is difficult to get a reservation at and then finally numerous salads, meats and white chocolate mousse. Highly recommended. A+++
