In this small-group kayak tour, set off from the dock on Granville Island and paddle away in the protected waters of False Creek. This calm waterway is full of interesting commerce, floating homes, marinas, birds, seals and unique vistas of the city’s attractions - such as Science World and BC Place Stadium. With lots of stops to recount Vancouver’s heritage, your guide will take you for a relaxing kayaking experience. You will start the tour with a short introductory lesson on how to paddle your kayak, as well as paddling safety. Then your guide will help you get fitted in your kayak properly and help you launch. Paddle into False Creek, with many breaks to take in the views, take photos and hear stories about the area's history as well as current developments. Places of interest are the Granville Island Market, BC Place, the Olympic Village and Science World. You will return in time to get back in the store at the tour finish time.
