This half-day private wine tour starts with a 2pm pickup at any Vancouver-area residence, or hotel. Visit four premium wineries and taste a wide variety of fruit and grape wines at each location.
Stop at Wellbrook Winery, with its historic 'Old Granary' and turn-of-the-century feel. Wellbrook features many fruit wines from locally grown strawberries, blackberries, and cranberries. Then relax at Domaine de Chaberton Estate Winery, a 55-acre property that takes advantage of a unique local micro climate to produce award wining 'cool climate' white wine. Next up is Neck of the Woods Winery, an organic winery undergoing expansion and featuring a fine Pinot Noir.
Lastly, visit the Vista D’Oro Farms and Winery, dedicated to providing the ultimate agritourism experience. This winery grows heritage orchard fruits and vinifera grapes, all of which can be found in the Farmgate Shop and Tasting Room in some form — whether it's the flagship D'oro, fortified walnut Wine, an orchard pear and vanilla preserve, or a simple pot of fresh lemon verbena.
Please note: Guests will not be hurried. Travel from stop to stop at a leisurely pace. Afterwards, the tour operator will be happy to provide a drop-off at the airport, hotel, or cruise ship, or even recommend a good spot for dinner.
