This once in a lifetime day tour starts with pickup from your Vancouver hotel, where you will meet your tour guide. After all guests are on board, you'll make your way out of the city via Stanley Park and across Lions Gate Bridge, where panoramic views of Coal Harbour to the east and Burrard Inlet to the west showcase the world class city of Vancouver. Next, travel along the longest road in Canada - the Trans Canada Highway, which connects to the Sea to Sky Highway, one of the top 10 must-see road trips in the world. The road snakes along the water, with the Coastal Mountains and peaks on your right and the Burrard Inlet, home to tree topped islands on your left.
Afterwards, relax at a short rest stop, where you can stretch your legs, use the facilities, and grab a coffee before continuing on your journey. As you leave the sea behind and follow the glacier-fed Cheakamus river inland, you'll travel through Squamish, the adventure capital of Canada with awe inspiring vistas of the Tantalus Mountains.
Climb about 2,000 feet above sea level and make a stop at Alexander Falls. Be ready, as there is a good chance to spot some black bears along the way. Arrive in the cozy and picturesque Whistler Village, which was home to some of the alpine events of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Here, you will have 5 hours of your own free time to explore. You may even choose to do one of the many amazing experiences Whistler has to offer (book in advance or ask your guide). Your guide will happily help and assist you to make sure you get the most out of your trip.
After a memorable afternoon in Whistler, make your way back to Vancouver at 4pm. Return down the Sea to Sky Highway, where you'll stop at Shannon Falls, the 3rd tallest waterfall in BC at 1,100 feet. This is great photo opportunity! As you cross back over Lions Gate Bridge built by the Guinness family, you'll have another chance to experience even more breathtaking views of Vancouver and the Burrard Inlet, before returning to your hotel.
