This was an excellent day trip and we highly recommend it. Ken was our attendant on the train up and was a wealth of information and very pleasant. He told us the names of some of the locals who came out to wave as we went through the neighborhoods. Great views from all sides of the train. Our bus guide was also very informative and helpful as we bused to the mountain. So glad we purchased Peak to Peak tickets on the train as the line was very long. We recommend that add-on as it is quite the exciting experience. The best part was the hydro-plane back to Vancouver! Wow! The views were amazing and a great experience. Loved this adventure.

Best day ever! The train trip was extraordinary with magical scenery and excellent service. We spent much of it in the 100 year old restored car so we could enjoy the scenery better. The float plane back was exhilarating as we flew beside the snow capped mountains. What a spectacular day!

This was the highlight of my 5 day Seattle Vancouver trip. Would love to do it again with family.

This is a fantastic day trip! Beautiful views both from the train on the ride up on the Rocky Mountaineer, and from the plane on the flight back. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that Viator re-booked several people to a flight that departed an hour earlier than originally planned, shortening the time in Whistler. If you want to take the Peak 2 Peak gondola and your time gets shortened by an hour, you could be rushing a little and won't get a chance to see much of Whistler itself.

Great way to see this region within a day. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Fantastic trip from when we were picked up from a hotel in downtown Vancouver with an informative host to the trip on the Rocky Mountaineer.
Return trip via floatplane was fantastic with great views of glaciers and landing into harbour in Vancouver. My son was extremely lucky to be up front beside the pilot.

Fantastic! Beautiful pictures! Unfortunately I could not travel back to Vancouver by floatplane, because of too much smoking in the sky!

This is a MUST! If you go to beautiful Vancouver...you HAVE to take this trip. This is a LIFETIME BUCKET LIST EXPERIENCE! Checked off ours...what a ride...I do recommend taking the Seaplane up in the morning to Whistler...train ride return Orientation of the Sun. The professional staffs are great...all you need is your camera, memory space, and battery life! My motto that I tell my wife the camera nut click away, you can always delete!

Incredible experience and could not recommend highly enough.
The scenic trip through the mountains of Vancouver, leading up to Whistler was incredible, sights that take your breath away and followed up by a great ride back from Whistler by floatplane. I was lucky enough to get a seat in the plane next to the Pilot, Max, who talked through explaining how the mountains got the way they are and showed us sights that you would've identify just by plane alone.
For anyone that would like to go to Whistler, definitely suggest trying to book this, you'll definitely remember it.
