After a safety and gear orientation, put on your safety vest and launch your canoe into the water. Travel northwest, allowing a gentle, steady stream to carry you past sandy cliffs and the boreal forest. Once you're finished with your meal, enter Miles Canyon, a deeper part of the Yukon River that requires your full attention and participation. Your guide leads you between the narrow walls of the canyon before arriving at Schwatka Lake.
