Your tour begins with early morning pickup from your hotel or meeting point in San Pedro de Atacama. You will meet your guide and board a vehicle to head to El Tatio Geyser field located at a distance of 61 miles (97 kilometers) from San Pedro and at an altitude of 4,300 meters.

You will arrive to the site at approximately 06:45am and the temperature may be very cold, so make sure to carry a jacket. You will hike to the geothermal field to observe the impressive columns of steam (Geysers), fumaroles, hundreds of pools of boiling water and high peaks. You will be truly amazed by this spectacular vision of nature at dawn. Here, you will enjoy breakfast consisting of coffee or tea, juice, milk, one sandwich and one chocolate.

You will then return to the starting point and head to visit the town of Machuca, a former ancestral people, with houses built in the traditional way. See this charming place before returning to San Pedro the Atacama, where your tour ends.
