產品詳情

Two fabulous tours showing different sides of Chile await you: the city highlights of Santiago and Concha y Toro winery.

SANTIAGO CLASSIC CITY TOUR:
Our tour starts giong down to the cobblestone neighborhood of Lastarr?a, a characteristic sector for its green areas and beautiful houses of the XIX century, now restored and mostly used as cafes, restaurants, bookstores and museums.
Then, we will go to Cerro Santa Lucia here we will have time to walk and take pictures, while our guide tells us some of the most important episodes in the history of Santiago, such as the Mapuche / Spanish confrontation. From its terraces we will have a panoramic view of Santiago, as well as admire relics and constructions from the colonial era, such as Castillo Hidalgo.
We will go to our next stop, on the way we can see emblematic places of the city such as the Plaza de Armas, The Santiago Cathedral and its impressive architecture, in addition to the former national congress. We will arrive at the imposing government house called “La Moneda” and next to it the “Plaza de la Constituci?n”; We will visit its surroundings and we will know more about its important and interesting history.
Once in our vehicle, the tour will continue with a step through the Central Market, one of the most characteristic gastronomic points of Santiago, and then continue to the upper sector of the capital. On the way we will stop at a lapis lazuli store where we can admire and/or buy beautiful jewelry and unique crafts. Then we will finish the tour at the respectives hotel or drop off options.

CONCHA & TORO WINERY:
Cross into the Pirque Vineyards to learn about the growth and development of vines assisted by the meticulous attention of master vineyard keepers. Centuries old history is all around as you explore the ancient Pirque Terraces. Old world taste comes to life with sampling of Casillero del Diablo Carmenere. The wines created from this classic Chilean variety were confused with Merlot for more than a century before rediscovery in the 1990s. Today Carmenere is Chile’s emblematic wine.
Then descend underground into the winery’s intriguing system of ancient cellars. Visit “Casillero del Diablo” (Devil’s Cellar), the source of the famous legend that made Chilean wine known around the world. End your tour at the wine bar for a wine tasting, an ideal place to taste premium wines paired with lavish appetizers and cheeses. If you select the wine-only option, sample two wines from the flagship Casillero del Diablo label. Or, add for a small additional price the wine & cheese pairing option, which includes four wines from Marques de Casa Concha, a premium label, accompanied by gourmet cheese. Once you've met your match, visit the wine shop where the full assortment of ultra-premium Concha y Toro wines are available for sale as well as books and souvenirs to commemorate your visit.

Santiago City Tour (3 hours):
After hotel pickup, drive with your guide by the gleaming skyscrapers of ‘Sanhattan,’ the city’s high-end finance center and then head to the civic center. In the neighborhood of Republica, learn about the district formerly home to the 20th century elite and check out Club Hip?co, a thoroughbred racecourse founded in 1869, reconstructed after a fire to resemble Longchamp in France. Then pass by the presidential offices of neoclassical La Moneda Palace and learn its history, including the 1973 overthrow of President Allende that took place here. Walk over to the festive main square of Plaza de Armas, punctuated with palm trees, and gaze upon more gorgeous examples of neoclassical architecture, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Correo Central, the old post office.

Back in the vehicle, travel to the top of Cerro San Crist?bal in Metropolitan Park, the city’s largest urban green space, and capture sweeping panoramas of Santiago with the Andes mountains in the background. Next, admire bohemian Bellavista, its colorful tree-lined streets popping with trendy boutiques, eateries and avant-garde galleries housed in lofts and stately mansions, a barrio partly made famous because Pablo Neruda had lived in this hilly neighborhood. End the tour at Mercado Central, a wrought-iron fish market named by National Geographic as one of the top 10 food markets in the world, and watch dizzying displays of chopping, filleting, weighing and wrapping of all kinds of fish.

Enjoy a variety of options to conclude your city tour: choose to stay at Mercado Central longer and make your own way back to your hotel, ask to be dropped off at a mall where you can shop for those one-of-a-kind souvenirs or simply take immediate transport back to your hotel.

Concha y Toro Winery Tour (4 hours):
After hotel pickup, take a 30-minute drive south of the city to Concha y Toro winery, located in the Maipo Valley winemaking region. Inside the beautifully landscaped grounds of the 1883 winery, meet your winery guide next to the former summer home of the Concha y Toro family and stroll into the old Pirque vineyards to learn about the winery’s techniques for cultivating the vines. From the terrace, take in wonderful vistas of the valley and perhaps catch the master vineyard keepers, responsible for watching the vines all year long, roaming the grounds.

Next, taste Casillero del Diablo (the Devil’s Cellar), one of the world’s best-known Chilean wines produced from carmenere, a grape originally from Bordeaux but now Chile’s trademark varietal. Then descend into the winery’s cellar, also called Casillero del Diablo and listen to the entertaining tale of how founder Don Melchor de Santiago Concha y Toro proclaimed in the late 1800s that the devil lived in the cellar. This legend he spurred on to life succeeded in keeping the public away from his private collection of wine. Conclude your tour at the wine bar and taste more wine from the Casillero del Diablo series and other premier labels. Before being transported back to your hotel, meander through the wine shop for books, souvenirs and, of course, bottles of wine to take home.

The city tour involved a lot of walking but was thorough. Pick-pockets - unsuccessfully - tried their stuff on us at the vegetable market. Lunch at the suggested restaurant was good but a tourist trap.

The first trip was a visit to the central town of Santiago. The tour covered many places town square, cathedrals, points of interest. Overall it was very enjoyable, especially with our guide Maryann to explain all about the city.
The second part of the excursion was a trip to the Concha y Toro winery. We were able to see now the grapes are grown and stored. There was even wine samplings.

City Sightseeing - the tour was ok. Our tour guide left a lot to be desired. I don't feel like I learned a lot and I spent a lot of time just trying to keep up with her. It was only 5 of us in the tour group, but 3 of us were English speakers and 2 of us were Spanish speaking. She spent more time engaging with Spanish speakers than English speakers. There was not a lot of time to take photos and it all felt rushed. One highlight though was seeing flamingos an black and white swans.

Concha y Toro - Was better than the city tour. Our driver was very nice and gave us information about the various parts of town we passed through to get to the winery and gave us some background on Chilean wine. The actual tour on the winery was great. We were able to taste grapes, taste wines, and tour the facility.

City tour was on Christmas Day, so most things in Santiago were closed, but there was no traffic and we witnessed a fabulous Changing of the Guard ceremony. The winery tour was interesting.

Marco was amazing! We ended up getting a private tour and the winery was amazing. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour was on time. The tour guide had excellent English skills, and clearly knew the city very well: he was well qualified to conduct the tour. He just was not really into the customer service part. He did the tour as described. But this was booked as a combined tour, yet some people on the morning city tour were not continuing on for the afternoon winery tour, so we spent a LOT of time stuck in heavy traffic taking one person back to her hotel. One couple decided to stay with us for the afternoon tour after all, so thankfully we didn't have to go to their hotel as well. A better choice on helping us avoid the hour or so spent in traffic just for that one person, traffic was heavy for the entire itinerary of the city part of the tour would have been to take us to the BellaVista neighborhood for our independant lunch stop BEFORE driving the one person to her hotel.
The Conch Y Toro tour was great...but one family had an additional tasting and we all had to wait for them to finish up...and that ended up being an hour. It made us feel like second class tour members. I think our tour guide could have done something with US while they had their tasting. He was not interested in extending our experience.
In all, the things seen in the tour were as described, and were all very engaging. The winery tour was much better than I expected: we've visited wineries in many places, so are beyond being impressed by the process. But they did a really nice job with the tour. And since it was harvest time, we got to go into a special vistor's vineyard and taste grapes off the vine, where there were MANY varieties available. We were simply turned loose to taste whatever we wanted for about 10 minutes or so. Great fun comparing the taste of grapes of many varieties. They have a fine wine shop there, with wines we don't see at home, which we enjoyed buying and later drinking.
I would say the tour was a good value.

A one day tour of Santiago and the winery was excellent. We were able to combine both morning and afternoon into one with a lunch at a local village restaurant with dirt floors . It was quality food and inexpensive. The tour of Concha y Toro is a must.

We were the only couple on this tour so it worked out better than we could have expected. Our guide, Ignacio, was obviously proud of his city and very knowledgeable about it's history. Because we had taken the Hop on, Hop off bus the day before he modified his usual tour. As a result we walked many interesting back streets to get a better look and feel of the city. We ended up catching the changing of the guard at the President's Palace. Later we visited the famous fish market and from there decided to go straight to Concha y Toro. The visit at the winery was also very informative and we had an excellent guide. Following the tour we stopped at their restaurant area and enjoyed more wine and tapas, chatting with a new found friend. We were enjoying this so much that Ignacio came looking for us to leave. He wanted to try and avoid the afternoon traffic back in Santiago. All in all a wonderful day and extremely good value for money.

Trip to Concha y Toro vineyards just like a visit to a wine merchants. Very dis-appointed.
City sightseeing had very good guide in Juan.

Pick up on time and message left for us in hotel. Good tour but we had to leave bus for 1.5 hrs and walk with guide to see many of the sights. No problem for us but could be for older/disabled in hot sun. Also had to wait 20 mins in sun for bus to pick us up at end. Back to hotel for lunch. Winery tour pm was good. Lovely setting with 3 tastings and presentation glass but did not see any wine making processes. Traffic horrendous on way back so v late to hotel. Confusion common with bookings re first name and surname and which comes first in the country you are in. Viator you should be well aware of this so SORT IT OUT so drivers and guides have the correct names.
