Meet your guide outside Dubrovnik cable car station, near Pile Square, and then hop inside for your ride to the top of Mount Srd the 1,352-foot (412-meter) mountain that towers over the city. After roughly three minutes inside the cable car, arrive at the summit and gaze out at the vista of Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast sprawled out at your feet. Have your camera ready; many say that on a clear day, you can see sights up to 37 miles (67km) away.
After admiring the views at Mount Srd’s peak for a photo stop, travel back down to Dubrovnik by cable car, and then start your walking tour of the Old Town. Home to most of the city’s finest attractions, the neighborhood boasts culture and history in plentiful measures. See the circular Onofrio's Fountain with its huge central dome, and amble past the Franciscan monastery, where a copy of Michelangelo’s La Piet? sculpture is housed.
Continue walking to Sponza Palace an attractive building that’s easily the jewel in Dubrovnik’s Renaissance crown. Now housing the country’s extensive state archives, Sponza Palace was once the town’s most opulent palatial building. Other highlights on your walking tour include Orlando's Column, the city bell tower, Rector’s Palace and the Church of St Blaise a pretty church dedicated to the city’s patron saint.
Walk across the main square to see the Baroque Cathedral of the Assumption, which was rebuilt in the 18th century after an earthquake, and then end your walking tour near Pile Gate.

The view is lovely. It would still have been good without the guide.you can find your way round without help and not have to worry about the time. Felt we didn't have time to explore the military outlook..

Very disappointing. We booked this tour primarily for the cable car ride. Viators what to expect information said a chance to savour the views and scenery from the top of Mt Sud, and after about 1 hour return down. Well when we got to the top the guide said you have 15 minutes!! Scarcely time to visit the toilet before rejoining the queue to go down. We anticipated spending some time photographing the scenery and perhaps taking some refreshment amidst the amazing views. Such a short visit is extremely poor value.

Great tour guide, great cable car experience, perfect weather day! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and told us a ton of Croatian history, the wait for the cable car was not long and the length at the top was just right. I think it should be made clear there is a lot of walking involved and you should definitely wear comfortable shoes and bring water. We had quite a few older couples with us and they lagged behind and were very winded at the route of the walk from the meeting location to the cable car, to Old Town. The wait time at our meeting location was quite long as well, we waited at least a half hour for everyone in our group to show up before we could proceed.

Dubrovnik is a fantastic place to visit. Our guide was knowledgeable and able to connect with each of us. There is a bit of walking uphill to get to the cable car, so be prepared. The view from Mount Srd is incredible. Walking through the Old Town was so interesting - so many side alleyways to explore. Be aware - most merchants accept the local currency only.

Loved the cable car with the stunning views of Dubrovnik. It was extremely hot during the walking tour as we did it in the late morning. We had spent a couple of days in Dubrovnik so we had already seen around Dubrovnik but we would still recommend the walking tour if you only have a short time in Dubrovnik.

Loved this tour with a fantastic guide who was so knowledgeable she got us quickly through the long queues waiting for the cable car and took us through Old Town .Would recommend this tour .
