Plitvice Lakes are one of Europe's most spectacular natural wonders and pleasure to visit at any time of year. This wonderful natural phenomenon consists of 16 interconnected lakes - all situated at a different level - and over 90 waterfalls of different size. The colour of the water is changing from emerald green to aqua blue and it’s so clear that you can easily see through, almost better than in any aquarium. Our guide will make sure you see as much as you can so you can just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Just like with any other wonders of nature, you have to visit and make your own impression.

A full day trip, I highly recommend doing this one. We did a guided tour once we were there as well, which was nice but not strictly necessary. The lakes and waterfalls are amazing, a must see. Our guide was mostly helpful in showing us where to go rather than providing information, but he was friendly and easy going. He did stop at a couple of places on the drive there so we could get some lunch items as well as showing us a small town with some beautiful falls.

Plitvice was so beautiful..would have loved to explore more, it was kinda short with the guided tour time flies when ur having a good time but the guide shared interesting facts and showed us the best spots.

We did not take the long route boat so we missed that experience. Guide did not give much explanation and we could not stay longer in some good spots. It is better to do it by yourself. Just take the bus and buy the ticket at the park. 110 kunas that were not included in the tour price.

HIghly recommend this tour! The bus broke down causing a delay but luckily it happened before the tour started. Our tour guide was great, despite the shaky start, she did a great job! You spend approx. 5 hours walking to see one of the most beautiful sights. Must do if you are going to Croatia.
