Start your tour by meeting your local chef at her spacious home in Prague Old Town. You will pick up some groceries together and then straight to cooking! Your chef will show you typical Czech dishes in a modern, healthy style. The 3-course meal will be made of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Together you will work on modern Czech delicacies and will then eat as much as you can -- beer and wine is included. Your chef will make sure you are enjoying the whole cooking process and will tell you about Czech cuisine and answer whatever questions you might have about Czech cooking and eating. Anydietary limitations or needs will be accommodated. You can even have specific requests about what exactly you'd like to cook.
Once the cooking and eating is over, you will wave your chef goodbye and take a tram to Hrad
any, an area surrounding the Prague Castle. You'll continue downhill from there and will finish off at Mal? Strana. The whole path is 3.2 km or 2 miles on lovely cobblestonestreets. You'll have plenty of stops on the way for a coffee or snacks. You'll be coming across beautiful buildings and if you decide to visit any of them on the inside, you'll have information from us regarding admission prices and opening times.
After your walk, it's time to get your creative juices flowing. You will head to Prague's hip district Vinohrady and will be able to let your creation come to life in a nice atmosphere of a local artistic caf?. Choose a piece of ceramics (a mug, a bowl, a plate, or even a vase) and let the art genius in you do the job. Once artistically satisfied, you can leave your souvenir in the caf? so that it can get fired. It can then get picked up a few days later.
This order of activities corresponds to having a lunch first and then spending the afternoon walking and ceramic-painting. If you wish, you can reverse the order and have the cooking class for dinner (please advise at time of booking). Any changes in the proposed itinerary can be accommodated.
