Meet your guide in central Athens and after listening to a comprehensive safety briefing, put on your helmet, hop on your bike and set off on your way. Following your guide, leave the busy city center streets behind, riding along the streets near Athens' Acropolis and then into the city’s more peaceful neighborhoods. See the Temple of Thission (Temple of Hephaestus) and pedal through Petralona, admiring its village-like charm with bustling tavernas and street stalls.

Enjoy plenty of stops throughout your ride to soak up the sights and relax. As you enter Palaio Faliro, hop off your bike and head inside Averof Ship Museum to see an exhibition about Greece’s naval heritage (entry at your own expense). After a brief look around inside with your guide, follow the stunning coastal roads over to Faliro Marina where you’ll stop for a drink (own expense).

Continue your tour through Flisvos Park and then leave your bike to enjoy a snack in a beach-side taverna (own expense), overlooking the glistening waters of the Aegean Sea. After eating, you’ll have roughly an hour to spend at leisure here, soaking up the sun on the sandy beach and swimming in the sea. Your guide will then meet you for the ride back to central Athens.

This bike tour is a unique way to see parts of Athens that the average tourist doesn't see. The guide, Vivian, is passionate and knowledgeable about her city. She also takes great care of the participants, so that riding a bike through this bustling city was relaxing and fun.

I really enjoyed the trip. The scenery to get out of the city was not particularly scenic but my guide Vivian was very friendly and enthusiastic. The beach is beautiful and a lovely break from the city and the maratime museum worth a quick look. The trip is a great way to escape the city for a few hours

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide Kostas was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The cycling is very relaxed and you get to see some beautiful coastline stretches as well as relax at the beach for a while. We really saw Athens in a new way and would definitely do it again.
