產品詳情

After meeting your guide at Ktozia Square, begin your 2.5-hour walking adventure with a stroll through the bustling street of Athina, where you’ll confront the Neoclassical pillars to the Mayor of Athens building. Follow your guide through the old streets of Athens and witness the livelihoods of locals. As you walk, listen to your guide explain Athenian culture and its 2,000-year-old traditions.
Explore traditional markets filled with local Mediterranean produce, and with help from your guide, select your favorite foods — perfect for an afternoon picnic after the tour. Then, head to Monastiraki Square, where you’ll be compelled by the slender fluted columns and elaborate capitals of the Adrian library.
Nearby, discover the 18th-century Tzistarakis Mosque, now functioning as a ceramics museum. Engage with shopkeepers and vendors at the local boutiques, and take in the smells of the square’s flea market. Then, voyage to either Ifaistou or Pandrossos and uncover more local Greek artisan shops.
Your tour will take you past ancient Agora next, where merchants traded enthusiastically during Greek and Roman times. You’ll see the lively central neighbourhood of Thission and pass houses from the 17th and 18th centuries along the way, as we make our way to one of Athens’ oldest areas, Plaka, to enjoy a freshly brewed coffee as we chat about all things ancient Greek.
Your Athens tour ends at the entrance of the Acropolis, where you are free to continue on your own personal exploration or your local guide can give you advice on the best way to get back to your hotel. Don’t forget to ask for tips on what else to see and do during your stay.
