Day 1: We will pick you up at your hotel in Guwahati by 7 AM and leave for Cherrapungee (approx. 5 hours). En-route visit the Mawsmai Caves and the Khasi Monoliths. The Mawsmai Caves are part of the longest cave system in India. The Khasi Monoliths are of pre-historic origin and find similarity with those found in France and other parts of Europe. Reach Cherrapungee around 6 PM for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2: Leave your hotel after breakfast for the Living Root Bridges. These natural double-decker bridges are unique sights to behold. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots intermingled to form a bridge that can hold good number of people at the same time. Some of the root bridges are over 100 feet long and incredibly strong and can take 10 to 15 years to grow fully. Return to the hotel in Cherrapunjee for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3: Leave your hotel early morning after breakfast for Kaziranga National Park. On the way visit Thangkharang Park that is home to a large number of rare and exotic orchids. From high elevations en-route have a panoramic view of the plains of Bangladesh. Check-in at your hotel in Kaziranga and enjoy your dinner and overnight stay. Day 4: After breakfast take an exhilarating jeep safari in the Kaziranga National Park. Return to your hotel for lunch and get some rest.
