Legend has it that when Bhangarh Fort, which was built in 1613, was suddenly destroyed, it became haunted. Entering the fort between sunset and sunrise is strictly banned by the Indian government. Visit the haunted fort and its sites for roughly two hours.
Afterward, head about an hour to Abhaneri to see the Chand Baori stepwell, built by the order of Kind Chanda in the 800s. With its precise geometrical design and maze of steps, it's quite a captivating sight.
