As one of the most fascinating animals in India, elephants are considered sacred in Hindu Mythology and can often be seen carved in the temples. Spending a day with elephants in the lush green environs near the Amber Fort will make you feel much closer to this giant yet beautiful creature.
Get picked up from your hotel at 10 AM and proceed to the popular elephant park, Eleday, where you will meet your host and begin the fun day with elephants. Enjoy a traditional Rajasthan style welcome with garlands and drinks before meeting the gigantic elephants. It is believed that the elephants symbolize royalty, yet they are actually very shy.
Your expert host will give you an introduction about elephants and teach you how to communicate with them by using the basic elephant language. Start with rubbing their trunk and once you have familiarized with them, gently climb on the bare back and rub their coarse skin. Participate in preparing the elephant food as feeding a mammal of their size would always be challenging and exciting.
After feeding the elephants, as the heat starts to pile up bathe the elephants in their pool. When the tour is concluded, enjoy some light snacks with your friendly host before we drop you back to your hotel.
