Day 1: [L]
You will be picked up from the selected location (please see Departure Point) by the departure time you choose and driven directly to Thekkady; you may request to stop along the way to freshen up during the185 km journey. Upon arrival you will visit the spice plantations and have the option to enjoy a elephant ride at an additional cost. Next, check into your hotel then take a leisurely walk to visit the nearby areas. In the evening from the Periyar entry gate start your 3-hour night trekking into the jungle. Protected by armed forest guards and two guides you are ensured to feel the wilderness surrounding you. The trek will come to an end at 10pm and you will be transported back to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2: [B]
At 6:30am your driver will take you to the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Here you will enjoy this 1.5 hour experience by boat, from which you will see the wildlife grazing along the banks of the lake. Amongst the wildlife there are lion tailed monkeys, elephants, gaur, birds and possibly even a tiger! Arrive back at the hotel by 9am to enjoy Breakfast. Hotel check-out is at 12pm after which you will be transferred back to the Kochi Airport.
