This one day guided tour will depart from Nagano Station at 8:30am and take you to see the world-famous snow monkeys of Jigokudani Valley by train and bus.

During the green season, the trail that leads to the Snow Monkey Park is surrounded by lush green nature and tall cedar trees. The walk is picturesque and peaceful and takes about 30 minutes.

Then you will pass the steaming geyser and Yokoyu River before entering the Snow Monkey Park where around 160 wild monkeys will be waiting to meet you! Enjoy the experience of being up close to the world's most famous monkeys and observing their human-like behavior. There is plenty of fun in the park with 15 new babies born this year - including a white one.

After spending ample time with the snow monkeys, it will be time to head back for some lunch at ENZA Cafe. Once you have replenished, it will be time to head off with us for some epic views at the top of Mt. Ryuoo.

The Sky Vessel holds an astounding 166 people, and takes only a few minutes to reach the top of Mt. Ryuoo, which stands at 1770 meters high. At the summit, you can enjoy the panoramic views and scenic trails. Drinks in the restaurant are available for purchase.

After all that fresh air, it will be time to head back to ground level where we will take you to Shinshu-Nakano Station to catch the train back to Nagano Station. You will arrive there around 17:30pm.
