The tour company Grayline was soooo professional, so nice, and I really had a great time! The driver had ice cold water for guests, the tour guide at Chichen Itza was so enthusiastic and I was engaged the entire time of the tour. The lunch buffet was really good and the ancient city is just gorgeous! I would book every tour in Merida with Grayline if I could. They were definitely the best tour company I experience and I went on two other separate tours. I was picked up in the morning on time, and the van was really nice compared to some of Grayline competitors. With this ticket, you don't have to worry about any entrance fees, they are all taken care of, and you'll go to Chichen Itza, watch a movie in the planetarium, have a wonderful lunch, swim in a cenote afterwards and really have a great time. I loved it! Highly recommend.

This was a good trip however when I booked it the site was misleading. Wasnt aware that it was swimming at a cenote nearby versus using all of the Mayaland Resort, it said swimming at the Mayaland resort which we were looking forward to. Lots of vendors selling things at the site, so bring some pesos.

Chichen Itza is hot and unshaded so bring the right clothing. The guide was fantastic and explained everything well!

Gray Lines picked us up at the hotel. The driver was very courteous and helpful. The bus was well air conditioned and the number of guests only five...nice and small. We arrived at Chichen Itza and were escorted to where we needed to be, met our guide who was just superb. Knowledgeable, conscious of time but not at all rushed and very friendly with openness to questions. Previously and with Amigo tour company, we went on a tour of Uxmal where the driver had us in a hot van and did the tour. He talked and talked so much about irrelevant things that it was awful. This tour through Viator was just the opposite. Highly recommended

Great trip! 3 people in the tour group. Our guide provided us with great information. I would recommend this tour to friends.

I would highly recommend this trip to Chichen Itza. It would be a real shame to be in this part of the world and miss one of the seven wonders of the world. The tour price is very affordable and our guide Rosendo was engaging and knowledgeable. I had spent some time studying Mayan History, and still I learned a few new things. Whatever your knowledge base is, you will be amazed.

We had a wonderful, informed guide who spoke at length on the Maya culture and traditions. Wonderful lunch buffet.

The local was very interesting, guide knowledgeable and understandable, but it was hot and got very crowded toward the end. I think youd be better off to take a bus in your own. Leave Merida early to avoid the heat and crowd.

Chichen Itza is extraordinary. While visitors cannot climb on the ruins, they are still an extraordinary experience I was happy to have brought a small pair of binoculars. Travelling alone, I was fortunate to be in the company of only four other people on my tour a charming family, so never had the feeling of being part of a big herd. Our guide, Jose hoe-sway was well informed, found the right pace for our group, and gave us time to explore on our own. While there are many people selling handicrafts at stalls ringing the perimeter of the site, this was not a distraction. Lunch was good, and stopped at a cenote on the way back to Merida. There were a lot of folks jumping in for a swim, so I decided just to watch, but the others on the tour took a dip and seemed to have a great time. Visitors may rent life preservers and towels for a few pesos.

Tour was AWESOME! We went first to a cenote in Yokdzonot. Then headed out to Chichen Itza with a good guided tour in both English and Spanish. The place is amazing and you have enough time for pictures. Then we had buffet lunch in a hotel nearby and the food was really good. Then we finished off with a cenote called Xcajum. I highly recommend this tour for your visit. Tour guide Santiago deserves a medal for his efforts!
