Six Flags Mexico
Everyone will find something at Six Flags’ 100-plus rides and attractions. Twist and turn through dark Gotham City at 50 miles per hour (80 kph) on Batman the Ride, Mexico’s only suspended roller coaster. For more superhero feats, take the 270-foot (66-meter) plunge on the Superman ride, and fly through the sky at speeds reaching 75 mph (120 kph). More than 40 tamer options, including circus-type rides, offer fun for the younger children in your family.

For more interactive experiences, swim with dolphins, battle with lasers in Terminator X, or dance with a Looney Tunes character. If you're there on a week night, call out after favorites like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and members of the Justice League marching along in the Magic Light Parade.

Ripley's Believe It or Not!
In a few short hours, you can see a whale skeleton, gargoyles, a copy of the Mona Lisa made out of toast, and African shrunken heads. These are among the 200 and counting oddities you can spot on display as you meander through a medieval castle. For good luck, rub a jade coin weighing over 500 pounds (227 kg)

In Ripley's wax museum, stroll by replicas of your favorite icons, including the Beatles, Steve Jobs, Michael Jackson, and local figures like Mexican wrestling legend El Santo and TV sitcom star Chavo del Ocho. After checking out the 4D moving theater, drop by the Wax Hands Workshop and dip your hands in wax to make special souvenirs.

KidZania Cuicuilco
At this theme park, children run around a pint-size city pretending to be adults. Wander through a variety of entertaining activity stations, complete with outfits and equipment, where children get to see what it's like to be a chef, firefighter, lab technician, pilot or doctor. Watch your children cash a check, drive a car, strike a gavel or manage a coffee shop, and laugh at the hilarious results.

Inbursa Aquarium
Spend a day at Latin America's largest aquarium, which opened in June 2014. Take an elevator down three floors, and deep beneath the streets of Mexico City, stand in awe before a 400,000-gallon (1,514,000-liter) glass tank swirling with colorful fish, rays and sharks. As you ascend floor by floor, check out crocodiles, turtles, jellyfish and manta rays, and learn about various 250 species found in the aquarium. Linger in the thematic sites of Ice Land, the Sunken Ship, the Forest of Kelps and Jellyfish Labyrinth. Bonus: Little ones will have fun learning about the ocean at one of the many interactive displays.
