This trip is an excellent way to experience Morocco. As others have mentioned, we had a hard time contacting them before our trip to confirm pickup. But the best way to reach them wash through WhatsApp. Our guide, Mohamed, was very considerate, flexible, kind and confident. We greatly appreciated his careful guidance. Imlil has a kind and welcoming feel (much calmer than Marrakesh). My recommendation is to only spend a couple days in Marrakesh then come directly on this trip! Food was excellent, the views are incredible and Mohamed is the BEST.

Just last week I had a brilliant time trekking around Imlil valley. My guide Mustafa was very informative, friendly and also was good fun to talk to while walking. The food throughout was delicious and the accommodation great. There wasn't much trekking the first day but the two following days were amazing!

He had a very interesting trip for 3 days at the Atlas mountain. The whole experience was pretty well organized, and the route offers great views, is interesting and as demanding as it should. Abdel was an excellent tour guide, friendly original and it was a joy watching him interact with the locals. Our trip had quite a bit of rain and you need to be prepared for this scenario and also the cold during night can be a bit challenging but with a spring jacket and some extra clothing you will be good until mid October.. One thing I have to notice is that meals for lunch are extras and all meals are cooked from the guides almost in front of you.

We started with a group of four people on the first day. The picked us up at the hotel in a nice van with airco. On the way to Imlil we stopped at a shop and did a short Camel ride. After that we went for two hour walk a had a long lunch.
I didn't like the first day. The walking part was way to short. The second day our guide, Idris, took us for a great walk in the atlas mountains. He knows everybody and is very friendly. The last day we also saw amazing views and had a nice long walk.
Breakfast lunch and dinner was included. The lunch was prepared along the way. The meals were far better that i had imagined. The lunch is served at the most beautiful places. The first hotel was very good. Keep in mind that it can get very cold at night. The second day we could choose between a similar hotel or a low comfort place in the mountains. We chose the last one and had a great time with the guides and other groups. We shared the dinner and breakfast.
Lunch is extra and costs 7 euro per person per day.

The trip to the Altas Mountains was one of the most enjoyable things I did on my trip to Morocco! The trip was well worth the money-- we got to experience so much! The gorgeous views of the mountains became evident as soon we were picked up by the drivers and began our journey to Imlil--the tour guides even had us stop a few times along the way so we could take in the beauty of it all. Once we were there, we got to see a beautiful waterfall and walk throughout some of the villages--we got to our guesthouse in late afternoon and got the opportunity to meet and have tea with some of the locals in the village. The next day, we hiked up a few small peaks and took a few trails to another valley were we spent the night hanging and playing cards with the guides and some locals. On the last day, we again hiked up a few small peaks and eventually made our way back to the drop-off point where we were picked up and driven back to Marrakech by early evening. We ate traditional Moroccan dishes for every meal and they were absolutely delicious--our cook was great! Just as a note, lunch is not included in the original pricing, so bring some extra cash because you will be charged at the end of the trip.
On my trip, I had two tour guides, Abde and Mohammad, who were both amazing! They both spoke English very well, were very knowledgeable about the history, geography, and culture of the valleys they were able to answer all my questions, and kept us laughing the entire time! Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend anyone who is looking to do something different and adventurous during their trip to Morocco!

The trip to the mountains and Berber villages was excellent. It had breathtaking views. The guide was very caring and we felt safe during the hike.
We went there at the beginning of February: the days were warm, but the night times were quite cold below zero celsius. The trip gave us a good local life experience: we visited households in different villages and had the best home-made food during our stay in Morocco.
Take good trekking/sports shoes to the hike, as the climbs can be quite challenging and a little slippery especially with bad footwear.
All in all we would do it again anytime.

My partner and I booked this 3-day Trek based on reviews, and it did not disappoint. Each day was different and enjoyable offering amazing views of the Atlas Mountains and surrounding villages. Our guide Mohmad Bowajamor was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He was flexible and offered us different hiking routes each day. We would recommend this trek to experience rural Morocco and for the spectacular views and hiking.

I couldn't recommend the trek highly enough. Our guide, Idriss sp? was extremely competent, knowledgeable, and patient. We were a group of four: two adults and two boys, aged 15 and 12, and he was able to design a route that was challenging but not threatening. The views were some of the best I've ever encountered, and the villages fascinating. The food was fantastic- much better than we were expecting. The quality of the tajines rivaled those we ate in the medina, and the trail-side settings were amazing.

The accommodations were authentic and rustic, though safe and comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of the call to prayer echoing down the valley was something we won't soon forget.

This experience was unanimously voted the highlight of our trip to Morocco, and has left us with incredible memories.

Five stars for the route, five stars for the food and accommodations, and six stars if possible for our guide.

We would repeat the experience in a heartbeat, given the opportunity.

Our guide Mustafa was probably the funniest and warmest man we've ever met. He struck the perfect balance between a challenging trek and a relaxing tour around the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains. There were many stops with Moroccan tea, and we were able to meet the local people. It was also nice meeting other tourists on the same tour there were 2 others trekking with the two of us and on other treks. We spent one night in a guest house and there were about 15 of us dining together, singing songs and sharing tagines. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is up for a challenging, longer hike with beautiful views and friendly tour guides.

My trip to the atlas mountains was amazing! The views were spectacular and my guides really looked after me! Idris took me to his family home on the way up to have some mint tea and Mohammed shalom encouraged me to climb higher than I thought I could without being too pushy! The highlight was Abderahim at the Dar Tighoula guest house! The food was all so fresh and he even gave me a cookery lesson ! The view of the stars at night is something I will never forget! I enjoyed this trip as everyone I met was so easy going and were very flexible to my needs I had a nap after the mountain! . The waterfall was beautiful. I would definitely recommend . The only thing that worried me was that I couldn't contact anyone to confirm the pick up point, I was staying at a hostel. They showed up as arranged though and everything was fine.
