Day 1: Marrakech Dades GorgesYou will be picked up from your riad in Marrakech heading to the High Atlas Mountains. You’ll be amazed by the gigantic peaks of the Atlas Next is Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world Heritage. Lunch will take place in a restaurant by the kasbah. after a short free visit to the kasbah, you'll drive on to Dades, by passing through the town of Ouarzazate, famous of its Kasbah Taourirt. Following the road of thousand Kasbahs and discovering Dades valley. Arriving Dades gorges, then overnight in the hotel.
Day 2 : Dades Gorges Merzouga
After breakfast, You’ll head to the neighboring Todgha gorges, much huge and cooler than Dades’. You’ll get to walk a little downside the gorges before we continue our road by passing through a number of towns: Tinejdad, Jorf and Erfoud. Lunch will be served in either Tinejdad or Touroug, before the Ziz valley. as soon as we are few miles ahead Merzouga. You’ll start to eye-catch the mountainous-like sand dunes; until we arrive in the desert hotel. you will check in, and have a rest, then behave in your own untill your diner is ready. overnight in the hotel.
Day 3 : full day Desert exploration
This is a day not to forget. You will begin with visiting the lake of Merzouga amid the sand dunes. After that, you will attend a short parade of GNAOUA music, performed by a local band of black descendants. You continue our journey through panoramic views that overlook the high Erg Chebbi dunes, and will stop again by the Berber Nomads who live nearby; to explore their way of living while having a cup of green tea under the tent. You move on until arriving in a restaurant, where you'll be served Berber pizza is the main course for lunch. We shall go back to the hotel to have rest before you mount on your camels, and walk for almost 40 minutes when the sun sets. then you arrive in the bivouac, where you'll be met by hospitable staff, who'll serve you diner and amaze you with local Berber music. Overnight in a traditional Nomadic tent.
Day 4 : Merzouga - Fez
The camels' guide will wake you up early to observe beautiful images of sunrise. Then mount back the camels to the hotel. You'll have shower and breakfast, then leave through Fez. Because the journey is about 500km, you won't have long stops, except several short ones over Ziz Valley, Atlas mountains in addition to lunch break in Midelt as well as short breaks by the forest of Azrou to closely see Morocco's monkeys. Also, you will stop shortly in Ifrane, a Switzerland-like town. Eventually you will be arriving in Fez around 7pm. End of the tour.
