產品詳情

One of Europe’s largest capital cities, Oslo also has one of the smallest populations, meaning its city streets are less busy with countless opportunities for urban outdoor activities. Cycling is one of the best ways to get around, and you’ll do just that on your 3-hour afternoon bike tour.
Meet your friendly guide in the center of town, close to the main shopping street of Karl Johan's gate, and after listening to a comprehensive safety briefing, you’ll be on your way.
See Oslo’s National Theatre and yellow-brick parliament building on Karl Johan's gate before pedaling along century -old alleyways and winding lanes. Following your attentive guide at a leisurely pace, cruise along the cycle paths that surround Oslofjord before exploring Aker Brygge -- a popular old shipyard that boasts captivating views of the harbor.
Visit beautiful Neoclassical neighborhoods, full of brightly painted 18th- and 19th-century houses, and stop for drinks (own expense) at Akershus Castle, where you can admire its Renaissance architecture. Glide past the Royal Palace, home of the Norwegian royal family, and see Oslo City Hall where the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place.
Frognerparken is a must-see while in Oslo, so you’ll enjoy a break here to explore this stunning park independently. Amble around the incredible open-air exhibition of bronze and granite sculptures by Norway’s much-acclaimed sculptor, Gustav Vigeland, or simply relax on the tranquil lawns.
After three hours of leisurely cycling, your guide will lead you back to your start point, where your tour ends.

Bicycle ride was the perfect length and group size of 12 was manageable. Our guide tried very hard to be patient with our bicycle skills traveling with my 3 boys ages 7, 9 and 15 as my younger children were initially nervous bicycling in a city and were so careful we slowed the whole group down. Oslo, by the way, is a very safe city to bicycle - very polite drivers who yield for pedestrians and cyclists. This is a great way to see the city as it gives a terrific overview and feeling for the city. Stops included Vigeland sculpture garden and the Royal palace as well as the Promenade and Fortress among others. Huge thumbs up from my kids who certainly preferred this over a walking tour!

We were given good bikes (with baskets on back), and our tour leader - can’t recall her name, but she was excellent, explained the bikes, the street cycling etiquette, (basically none, you can go anywhere) and took us on a 3 hour journey which included many highlights. The sculpture park was amazing, the back streets of the more affluent residents of Oslo was great too. Nothing too strenuous.

My 5 star rating partially based upon the price paid:
    5 Exceeded expectations
    4 Met expectations
3 Did not meet expectations but still would have engaged with the vendor
2 Would not have engaged with the vendor but wouldnt dissuade others from doing so
1 Would not have engaged with the vendor and would not recommend others doing so either

    PROS
Josh I believe that was name, young man from Florida was a hoot - definitely know his story of Oslo and told it with humor
Small group so it was very conversational
Not a bad ride - with a little exertion but OK for novice bike riders
Got to see some of Oslo that we would not have otherwise probably seen

    CONS
    None

Great way to see all of Oslo in a limited time. Fortunate to have weather without rain for the 2-5pm bike ride. Guide quite knowledgeable although could have been better. Having said that I would definitely do it again. Beware amateur cyclists and the not so fit that Oslo is not completely flat. Some parts are hilly so requires a certain level of fitness and ability to change gears. Also, other cyclists don't give way so you just have to watch out for each other whilst trraversing the city on tramlines, cobblestones busy streets, etc. Glad I partook in this tour.

What a great day to see a lovely City and what a great way to do it.
Curtis was fun, knowledgeable and brought the city to life for us - sharing different perspectives in a joyful way.
    Thank you.

Good bike tour. Guide was from Florida, but can't remember his name. So english was good. I'd say the tour was very informative about Oslo and Norway in general. Lots of information I had not ever known. The sites were good and got to bike a lot of Oslo. Guide also had some nice local tips/insights on the landmarks we were able to visit. I wish it included the Opera House..but overall, it was still very much a good value and I would recommend.

We had a fabulous afternoon with Patrick peddling around the city. He brought the history of Oslo to life with his many stories. The group was the perfect size. I highly recommend spending some time seeing the city this way.

Great way to see the city certainly a different experience for me. I would recommend this for Oslo, as it's not really that big of a city. And since cyclists reign supreme on the streets here, I felt very safe.

Enjoyed this tour. Have to say initially it was disappointing to find that it wasn't a native doing this tour but our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Unfortunately his name escapes me, young American guide and he was enthusiastic and fun. Would recommend this tour.

This is without doubt the best way to see the sights of Oslo or any other city in fact. Our guide Patrick from Viking Biking was great and even in the pouring rain we had a truly memorable day.
