行程介紹

In order to start our tours on your arrival day, it is suggested to arrive in Iquitos before 11AM.

Day 1
9:30am:
Transfer from the airport or hotel to private port in Iquitos city. Navigation 3 1/2 hr along the Amazon River.
Arrive in Curassow Amazon Lodge. Your accommodation is in private bungalows.
Lunch buffet
Exploration by boat to observe birds, monkeys and sloths in the wild.
In the afternoon, get ready to enjoy a beautiful sunset in a lake.
Dinner buffet
Night walk.
Observation of snakes, frogs, nocturnal monkeys, mammals, rodents, etc.

Day 2
Early canoe excursions. This is the ideal time to hear the sound of different bird species.
Breakfast buffet.
Exploration by boat and jungle trekking to observe medicinal plants.
Lunch buffet
Excursion by boat and foot, fishing for piranhas and observation of the hoatzin or shansho (Opisthocomus hoazin) a prehistoric-look bird.
Dinner buffet
Excursions by boat to observe caiman, nocturnal birds, mammals, etc.

Day 3
Breakfast on the boat.
Swim with the dolphins in the Amazon River.
Observation of iguanas and the Victoria Regia water lily, the biggest aquatic plant in the world.
Visit a village to observe handicrafts.
Lunch buffet
Amazon River Navigation back to Iquitos city.
Transfer from the port to airport or hotel.
6pm is the estimate arrival time in Iquitos.

What animals are easy to see during our Amazon jungle tours?
Curassow Amazon Lodge’s excursions aimed at observing animals in their natural habitat. We guarantee that traveler will observe wildlife due the lodge and operations are in deep jungle. Easiest animals we will observe in our jungle tours are sloths, monkeys species, birds, caiman/alligator, pink and gray river dolphins, piranhas, tarantulas and other spider species, snakes, among other. IMPORTANT NOTE

Curassow Amazon Lodge is located 100 km (62 mi) from Iquitos and is only accessible by the property's private transport. Travelers must arrive in Iquitos a day before of the starting day or before 8:30 am on the day of the tour. In case of a later arrival, a private boat transfer will be available for S/ 600 Peruvian Soles or USD 200 (one way). On the last day, please plan to fly out of Iquitos after 6:30 pm or the day after the trip. If you are flying out before, a private boat transfer will be available for S/ 600 Peruvian Soles or USD 200 (one way)

It was great experience, very well organized ! Our tour guide was real proffesional. We spent there 3 beautifull days. If you want to see real wildlife not captured animals in cages go there and support them - they do it how it should be - let the animals live their lifes and only watch them. The lodge itself is very nice equipet and designed, bungalows are very comfortable. I loved the food from their kitchen - they are able to prepare also vegetarion options - which was great.

This was a nice excursion but the accomadations were very rough.

Yes, I know I am in the Amazon, but for the money I paid I would think it would be a bit nicer. The electricity did not work in my bathroom due to a short. There were tears in my screens in my room and the front door did not shut all of the way. So every morning there were bugs.

They could use some money to spruce up the main lodge area as it is not inviting and the bar is lifeless. If they added more candles it would help so much.

The food was very good and staff was very pleasant

The manager Leon was visable, but did not do anything or interact with me or the other guest.

The staff at the Curassow Lodge was amazing and made the trip special for us. The time we spent in the amazing was well worth the time it took to get to the reserve. The people were all very nice and it was a nice chance of pace to be disconnected from reality/technology for a few days.
