DAY 1

This survival adventure will start 7:30am departure from the hotel or meeting point. We will drive by car from Iquitos to Nauta (1:30 hrs). Then board a motorboat from Nauta to village (3 hrs).
Information will be given about the Amazon region.
Survival principles will be explained. Proper use of a machete and personal protection.

Accommodation: Overnight in typical village house.

DAY 2-5

Board a motorboat (3 hrs). Arrival to designated area, begin instructional training.
During these days we will do the following activities:
- Construction of individual shelters
- Awareness of the area
- Orientation by compass and natural signs
- Compass training
- Use of natural resources (Techniques of finding water, and using the natural foods of the area)
- Methods of making a campfire under extreme conditions
- Construction of traps to catch animals
- Improvised fishing
- Food preparation
- Identification of flora to be used to survive
- Construction of individual floatation devices
- Recognition of harmful animals and plants
- First Aid
- Emergency international signals
- In these days we will eat self-collected food

Overnight in the jungle

DAY 6

Return by motorboat to the village Nauta (3 hrs). We will get a car from Nauta to Iquitos (1:30 hrs)
Arrival to Iquitos city is estimated to be at 7:00pm
