Your island-hopping adventure begins with pickup from your hotel and a short trip to the Mactan Island docks, just over the causeway from Cebu.
Boarding an outrigger motorized canoe called a banca, take in views of the Philippine Sea and its many islands on the 45-minute ride to Hilutungan Island. The marine sanctuary surrounding Hilutungan is home to colorful coral reefs and hundreds of varieties of fish, including damsel fish, anemone fish, parrot fish and batfish, among others.
You’ll soon see why Hilutungan is considered the Philippines’ best island for diving and snorkeling, and with the help of your guide and boat crew, you’ll have the varied marine life practically eating from your hands! Deeper reef waters surround the island if you feel like trying some snorkeling or swimming.
Leaving Hilutungan, continue cruising to Nalusuan Island or Pandanon Island for a scrumptious picnic lunch served on the beach, with grilled seafood, chicken or pork, and fresh fruits for dessert. The choice of island depends on the day, and both idyllic isles have white sandy beaches and cute beach huts.
After lunch, have free time to soak up the sun, go for a swim in the aquamarine sea, or get to know the local fishermen and boat handlers.
In the mid-afternoon, cruise back to Cebu and be returned to your hotel.
