Nowadays the Izmaylovo Kremlin is famous for its open air souvenir market. It is one of the oldest part of Moscow, where the Tzar Alexey Mikhailovich Romanov had his summer residence and where his son Peter the Great was brought up. The complex occupies the territory of 17 hectares and includes: trade town where all visitors can see and buy traditional Russian craft objects such as famous matreshkas, wood-carving goods, porcelain, glass, birchbark items, shawls etc.), traditional crafts workshops, “Russian Yard” a copy of a traditional wooden settlement with churches and houses. You will be taken to the Applied Art College to attend a lesson of traditional Russian painting of a Matryoshka doll.

Experience the unique feeling of creating a Matryoshka (the famous Russian nestling dolls) doll in a one of a kind painting class!
You will be taken to the Applied Art college to attend a lesson of traditional Russian painting of a matryoshka doll. You will get acquainted with the techniques of painting, get the set of paints and a wooden unpainted doll to make an attempt to do the painting and get the painted item as souvenir.
After the painting class you may spend time in the market looking for souvenirs.
