Our driver met us right in the Arrivals gate and it was a short walk to the car with our bags. It could not have been more simple to get door-to-door to our hotel. The only caveat I will say is that be sure when you book that you double check the address for the hotel and ensure that is listed in the confirmation. Our hotel had multiple locations and my phone battery had died with the info to re confirm. Just to make things super smooth for all involved, have it handy!
I had mentioned to our driver that due to our delayed flight I hadnt had a chance to get Rubles and wondered if he had any suggestions on where best to do that. En route to the hotel he brought me to a bank and made sure I got what I needed (my Russian was terrible and I was tired, he was a real help here). He pointed out how to get back from the hotel in case I needed more, and in general was very helpful.
Could not imagine going airport to hotel any other way.

While the driver wasn't there when we got in, the flight was a bit early and we didn't have to wait very long. He didn't speak English but we communicated just fine. The ride was about thirty or so minutes, directly to the ally by the hotel. Great service and ride.

Excellent driver but a bit expensive, as the taxi back to the airport ordered by hotel staff cost 1200 roubles approximately 15 pounds sterling
