We were in St. Petersburg during World Cip, so we had a bunch of World Cup bro's on the boat with us. But this was fine. The mood was high and people were pleasant. It was definitely hard to hear the loudspeaker with everyone carrying on, so I would day you might hear more off season. What was most fascinating was the excitement at the drawbridges going up... it is a real event replete with cheering and music from the shores and a zillion boats on the water. Something you should totally do once, as St. Petersburg is very pretty from the Neva at night. But just manage your expectations.

This was a really great tour. Although I am from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla and therefore have seen my share of draw bridges, this tour is a great way to see St. Pete all lit up at night. My 13yr old daughter and I really enjoyed it.

The tour was extremely short. We were disappointed that it seemed to be over in such a short time. Our guide did a good job with the time we had her.

It rained but to our pleasant surprise tour guide showed up. I apologize for not recalling her name but she was great. Very cool person, friendly and conversational. She was also very informative about not just the bridges and canals but the buildings in the neighborhood we walked through prior to getting on the boat. The tour itself was a wonderful experience and the sites to see were beautiful. I recommend this tour.

THIS TOUR IS A MUST. This is so beautiful, St. Petersburg really lights up at night. You could swear the whole city is made of light. Such an incredible way to see St. Petersburg. Bring your camera, there are many AMAZING photo opportunities!! This really is something out of a fairy tale.

Let's talk about tour guide herself! She is the most cheerful, and pleasant person we met in all of St. Petersburg. Calm mannered, young, full of energy, and knowledgeable, we really liked her.

She gave us a choice of a long or short route along the Neva River and surrounding canals, explaining the benefits of both clearly, so that there was no doubt as to what we would be getting depending on our choice. I'm not sure if the tour would've been as good without her specifically being assigned as the tour guide. While I left Russia when I was four years old, and my vocabulary isn't extensive, my parents, however, thought she was an impressive tour guide which is good news coming from actual Russians. Another benefit of this tour is that the group wasn't huge, so it was really easy to listen to the guide's narrative.

I can't recommend this tour enough. One thing to bear in mind is the cold, so ensure that you dress WARMLY. Blankets are provided. One final thing to keep in mind is that there's no transport from the train station to the tour departure point, so be prepared to walk, however it is a very short walk, and the tour guide explained things to us as we went, as you pass a few historical landmarks along the way, which is also worth it.

Once again, an incredible tour, with an OUTSTANDING tour guide.

Really nice tour

I totally misunderstood the date so I showed up the midnight of Sept 12 going into Sept 13. A midnight late.
Much to my disappointment.

The tour guide was great but the rest of the tour was only ok. We joined a boat full of other tourists who did not book this tour online but onsite and spent way less money on it. The boat had speakers where Russian explanations were given which were disturbing the headphones we had from our guide.
