Fantastic tour of Peterhof Grand Palace! A word about the taxi driver, he was really cute :
Our tour guide Ilya was great helpful, spoke good English, and was very attentive and knowledgeable! The boat ride back via hovercraft was interesting as well and certainly worth every cent! Thank you again!

Our tour was well conducted by our guide Helen. Given that we were the only people on the tour we received exceptional and personalised information and service. The only negative was that it was a bit rushed as we did not get enough time to explore the beautiful gardens as we needed to be at the pier for our return trrip to St Petersburg.

Petershof is fascinating and beautiful. It was great to go with a small group and get to skip the lines. The ride back to St. Petersburg on the hydrofoil was a treat. The tour guide was knowledgeable on the history of both St. Petersburg- which he commented on as we drove through on the way to Petershof. I'm glad we booked a tour rather than try to do this on our own.

Well done, but a bit hectic. Drop off point was not clear in info. Catherine was knowledgeable and friendly. Overall quite good.

We had a wonderful tour with guide Veronika. She was knowledgeable, personable, and managed the time available very well. She is great. The palace tour rooms--the areas available to the public--are beautiful and fascinating. We were able to get through before most of the large groups of tourists arrived. It was a valuable opportunity to learn about Russian historical figures at the same time. The grounds are beautiful, even on a gray day. We found it easy to imagine traveling back in time there. We certainly recommend the tour.

Our tour guide, Margarita Maslova was excellent. She was able to answer any questions that we had. Her knowledge of English made it very easy to understand what she was saying. We enjoyed her company very much and through her thorough knowledge we learned a lot about Russian history and Russian way of life. We could not have asked for a better guide.

Whilst the tour of itself was fantastic I have to say that it was very rushed and therefore we had little time to visit the palace and shop at leisure. When booked the time of pick up was to be 10.00 a.m. a phone call the day before said that pick up was goind to be 9.00 which was ok by us. We were back in St. Petersburg and our hotel before 2.00 p.m. The guide was informative and charming however one got the distinct impression that she was in a hurry to get back. A pity....as it was once in a lifetime opportunity to see the summer palace.

Our guide was very knowledgable , but note that the tour does not bring you back to your hotel.

Must see, but having a knowledgable guide is e key .
