The night before I received an email telling me what time was put up but not only that they called the hotel that night and spoke to me so that I made sure I had receive the email. Olga was our guide she picked us up at the Lo. Sharply at 830am with the driver as they drove to Peterhof she spoke about the palace and history of it as well as the history of Saint Petersburg. at the tour she went through each room speaking in good English and then she made sure we were outside with plenty of time to see the fountain show. Then leading us through the gardens, allowing my son to get ice cream or for us to shop at the sovenier shop. The. At the end driving us and leaving us right at the hotel door. We loved that it was only our family doing the tour so we could ask questions and wouldn’t get lost. Thank you Olga!!

I just returned from St. Petersburg where I had a lovely dinner with Katarina and Alexandra. The food was delicious, the atmosphere in their small apartment charming and the two women were delightful hosts, providing a warm friendly reception with great conversation.

This tour was amazing!

I was the only person booked on the tour, so turned out to be a private tour! The guide and driver were really nice, and because it was just me, a lot more time was spent checking out the different areas around the palace and gardens. I even got a mini tour of the historic metro on the way back to St Petersburg. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

Wow! this is a most see place. This place and all the history involved about Peter the Great. So much gold and history! I highly recommend it!

This was an excellent tour. Avoided lines and got to see all of the Palace and grounds.

Olga, our tour guide was pretty thorough and knowledgeable. My main issue is as the title of the tour states, EARLY ACCESS, and the description states visit or entry before the doors open, but it was already very crowded with a long line when we arrived. There was also a small museum within the grounds that we could not access as we did not have tickets. The tour company should inform clients of this option as unless one does thorough research, one would not know about it. Given all the sightseeing options in all of St. Petersburg, it is easy to miss small items such as this.

Irina met us at the hotel, took us to Peterhof with one other guest and the driver was great. All very efficient, friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable. Would not have wanted to do this trip with a large group. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Would recommend.

This was the most expensive tour we booked for our trip and was by far the biggest disappointment. First- this tour picks you up at 9am and the palace opens at 9am. It is an hour drive to the palace so you will not arrive until after 10 am. This is advertised as an early entry ticket and there is NO SUCH THING! They do NOT sell early access tickets to the palace. When we arrived our guide, Elena, went to purchase the tickets and we met her up front. There was a HUGE line to get in and she said she would see who she knew in the line and maybe we could break in front of others, if not, we would just go to the back and wait in the line. We purchased this high priced tour with early entry tickets only to arrive more than hour after opening and then we have to break in line... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The fountain show was at 11am but needless to say, we had just gotten inside of the palace so we missed it. All of these challenges can be overcame gracefully if you have the right guide but we did not. During the tour, I felt like we received generic, basic information that was the bare minimum that needed to be provided. I did not leave knowing anything knew about the palace or Peter. As a matter of fact, my husband and I learned more from listening to the guides of other tours than our own. We were painfully aware throughout the tour that we were not getting the same value as others that were there. I was so disappointed and would not recommend doing this unless you confirm you have guide that is doing this as a passion instead of a paycheck.

The guide was terrific and the timing was wonderful. Early access does not mean getting in before other large tours. It poured rain but it did not matter. The experience was breath taking. The only problem was the driver in the min van had the worst BO and it made the other guests sick, We needed air but the circulation of air made the BO was sickening. Viator needs to have a hygene policy.
