Stop At: Savior on the Spilled Blood, St. Petersburg, Northwestern District
The second place of interest is the Church on the Spilled Blood, a rare example of a traditional Russian church. The church was built on the spot where the Russian emperor Alexander II was assassinated in 1881. This Church is really unique, because it is decorated with 7000 square metres of mosaics.
