My wife and I realize that St. Petersburg is extremely hard to cover in just one day. Unfortunately, we had no choice due to this being a port stop on a Baltic Sea cruise. That being said, while I wouldn't say this was a complete disappointment of a tour, there are a few things that could have been improved upon and I'll start in order of precedence:

1 Metro Station Tour: this final stop in this tour is 100 pointless while everyone has their preferences, I certainly don't go to a city to enjoy their metro stations while it can be fun this metro ride should come along with an actual need to get somewhere and not be a highlight in and of itself. This stop can and should have been substituted by something more meaningful like the Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood. In fact, our tour guide ignored, misled us about traffic and denied the entire groups request to be taken to Spilled Blood church insted of metro station.
2 Peterhof: would have been nice to spend more time at Peterhof
3 Lunch: while the lunch was cheap I woul have rather paid more to get a truly authentic and delicious russian experience or at least be taken to a location with multiple restaurants for us to choose from.
4 Tourist Visa: the tour management and description should be a little more honest about exactly what kind of Visa is provided here - unfortuantely when we tried to break away from the group because of 0 interest in Metro station we were told we could not be in Russia without Russian citizen supervision.
5 Port Return: port return time should be based more on ship departure time for all guests on the tour as opposed to a fixed 5pm time slot all the passengers in our group were not set to depart until 7pm and in fact RC captain did not set sail until 7:45pm - it is pointless to waste 2 hours on a ship before departure when one could be enjoying Russia.

A few changes in regards to details and quality of the itenirary is all this company needs to make this a 5 star tour.

It was a great experience in St. Petersburg. We wish we have more time to explore. Our tour guide and driver was very good and knowledgeable.

Everything from start to finish was first class our guide Jayne's knowledge of St Petersburg was like an encyclopedia worth every penny and more.

This was a fantastic tour with our spritely, upbeat tour guide Tatianna. Due to the heavy rains the hydrofoils were not running so we had to take a bus to Peterhof which gave us less time there. The grounds with all the beautiful fountains and gardens were gorgeous (even more beautiful than Versailles in my opinion). We didn't have to wait in line when we got to Pushkin which was awesome. Catherine's palace was amazing, but extremely crowded so we didn't have barely any time to shop in the gift stores which was unfortunate. The only reason I didn't give the tour 5 stars was because we were expecting to tour a metro station, but this wasn't included on our tour. We asked our guide about half way through when we would go to the Metro and she said that most people don't want to do that so we wouldn't be going. We were slightly disappointed and realized at the end we would never have had time to do this portion of the tour so I don't think this should be included in the title as it is very misleading. The rest of the tour was so great that we were able to overlook it though.
