Amazing. Got to the front of the queue at most locations and squeezed in an afternoon at peterhof.

This tour was amazing. our guide was a young girl can't remember her name now but she was amazing. Her knowledge was fantastic and she was young and full of life, very refreshing.
The places she took us to eat were fantastic local and very reasonably priced.
We were a private group of 6 friends. It was great to be a small group getting through those crowds.
Our friends who were with us had done the trip before with a bus and said they didn't see halve as much then as they saw this time so they were very happy.

My husband and I booked this tour for two of the three days that our cruise ship was in St Petersburg. We were so happy that we made the decision to do this private tour. We were able to do things that larger groups just don't do. In addition, because there were only two of us, we spent far less time standing in lines - and no waiting on buses for everyone to show up.
Because it took longer to get off the ship on the first day than we had anticipated, our wonderful guide Irena was able to modify the itinerary and shift a couple of things to the following day. So we did not miss anything that was planned.
What really made this trip so special was the opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with Irena. Her enthusiasm, hospitality and command of history and context made our two days very rewarding. In addition, the insights she gave us into her life and family gave us a much better understanding of life in Russia.

Our guides were excellent, however as this was a 2 day tour I would have preferred to have the same individual for both days. The driver is an unsung hero, finding parking!
End of August is a very busy tourist time. Weather was 60's, overcast, occasional rain. Might want to wait until kids are back in school.

we got to see the highlights of the city. The tour guide, Ana, was really good and knowlegable. The vehicle very confortable.

Great two day tour. Katerina was able to get us in all the exhibits, give great detail about the history of Russia and the Soviet times. In going through the many locations, she explained, in detail, the art, fountains, rooms, etc. As we were it the s the two of us, we were able to spend some additional time at the Herimtage, vs the tours from the ships. Would recommend her and the tour.

Superb professional service from our guides and driver. Anna for day 1--Her strong historical background was perfect for the Hermitage and city sites. Day 2 with Maria brought the people, economy, countryside to life for us. Their expertise was customized to our interest in architecture, arts, history and cuisine.

We really enjoy this tour. We had a driver and a very knowledgeable tour guide for us. No lines at museums. And no visa needed. Just remeber to ask for the name of the tour company before the trip, russian official will need this.
And the guide was ok with taking us to dinner after the first day.

This was a wonderful, well organized tour of a beautiful and amazing city. Anna met us promptly waiting with a sign with our name on it and took us to our waiting driver, Alex, and into an immaculately clean minivan. We saw all the listed sights and more, and were able to avoid the long lines as Anna had pre-arranged ticket vouchers for all the sights. Anna a teacher when not guiding tours is a wealth of knowledge on the complicated history of her country, and its rich culture, and was able to answer all our questions. Anna speaks English very well, and although Alex doesn't he smiles a lot, was courteous and polite, and is a great driver who was able to navigate the traffic effortlessly and efficiently. Highly recommend this tour.
