This was a great tour! We had about 2 hours at each location which gave us time to look about on our own. I highly recommend Timberbush Tours. They were were very helpful to me as a person with limited mobility who travels with a rolling walker. Martin, our guide was well informed and provided an interesting commentary as we traveled each location. Rosslyn chapel was beautiful and interesting and Melrose Abby was spectacular and well worth visiting for a history buff,. Glenkinchie distillery was a fun but shorter stop with a guide that had a keen sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed our day!

This trip is a must see. Our tour guide was Gregor. He was dressed as a true Scot in his outfit. Was great to be able to experience seeing someone wear a kilt and work! Rosslyn Chapel had so much history. The guides within the chapel were very knowledgeable. I thought it was interesting to find out why they had a cat in the chapel, too! The added history of the Scottish borders was a treat and the stops to take pictures were greatly appreciated. I am not a whisky person but I truly enjoyed Glenkinchie Distillery. I even sampled some of the whisky during the taste test. It is amazing to see how these guides can take you to the most remote spots in those tour buses. Gregor was a pleasant guide to be with the entire day. He made sure that everyone felt welcome!

We were lucky to have Erik as our driver guide - he has an amazing background, was fun and very knowledable. Loved his personnally chosen sound track for the trip... added a lot. Distillery tour was excellent, and the Chapel was very different and the guides provided some interesting historical insights. Well worth the trip!

Great tour. Would have appreciated more time in Melrose and less at the distillery

Gregor ws an excellent guide as we visited sites on this tour. He provided bits of Scottish history and music as we traveled to beautiful Rosslyn Chapel and to the border town of Melrose. We had a lot of time to leisurely explore the town and visit the abbey. Our visit to Glenkinchie allowed us to sample the water of life.

This is a beautiful chapel. We didn't read the exclusions which is our fault, so be prepared to pay to get into the chapel and the distillery it was pricey. The price you pay is just for the bus ride. The scenery is just gorgeous!

My husband and I enjoyed this trip to the Scottish Borders. We had a marvelous red-headed tour guide, Gillian. Since she lived in the area of the Borders we were visiting, she was very knowledgeable. The visit to the Chapel was great, beautiful and a wonder. How could it could have been constructed without modern tools. The trip to the distillery was also very interesting. The process of making whisky explained, samples enjoyed, and great displays and gifts. I bought the tiniest bottle of whisky, which I gave to our B and B master for his emergency use. He joyously showed it to the other guests. We saw lots of gorse, a yellow flowering bush found through much of Scotland.
