Great tour. The Melrose Abbey is a stunning ruin, I could have stayed for hours, but alas, only 30 minutes. We had several hours at Alnwick Castle. Even in September, the gardens were magnficent. The caslte is lovely. Downton Abbey fans will recognize the state rooms. My disappointment was that the exterior of the castle seemed more like a Hogwarts Lite amusement park. Our guide, Murray was a lot of fun and informative. The stop at the seaside was interesting. Lovely scenery.

Great tour!! Highlands experience is a great option if you want to experience the borders. We had plenty of time on Alnwick Castle to enjoy ourselves. Our driver David was fantastic!

It was a Great tour, Alnwick,Melrose Abbey, walking across the river Tweed into England, Walter Scott's favorite view in the border lands. All around just a most enjoyable time, with a very informative tour guide David who as far as I am concerned went above and beyond. Best of all you don't have to drive, for my money, a good value.

It was a really raining day but this was one of the most amazing tours I have ever been and I already have gone so many tours... This tour guide, Jamie, was so talented on showing us the borders, telling the stories behind the scenarios and also talking about Scotland in general. Jamie understood that the heavy raining was kind of interfering with our ability to enjoy the trip so, he improvised and changed a bit the itinerary in order to please us. The scenes were unbelievable beautiful and his mood and genuine interest in amuse us gave the trip a big plus. My son and I really appreciated this experience.

Barney is a must! Very patient with all kind of passengers the bla bla one's and the delayed one's.
Apart from the cold, Alnwick is amazing. Loved it, recomend it.
Melrose is beautiful.
